After many years of having a ~30 line copyright and license header to our source files, we are finally able to reduce that to one line with the advent of the SPDX identifier. Also caught a few files missing the SPDX license identifier, so fixed them up. 2015-12-14igb: Remove GS40G specific defines/functionsAaron Sierra1-1/+1
The I210 internal PHY can be accessed just as well with the access functions shared by 82580, I350, and I354 devices. The i210 has two EEPROM access registers that are located in non-standard offsets: EEARBC and EEMNGCTL. EEARBC was fixed previously and EEMNGCTL should also be corrected. 2014-07-10igb: Workaround for i210 Errata 25: Slow System ClockTodd Fujinaka1-0/+12
On some devices, the internal PLL circuit occasionally provides the wrong clock frequency after power up. The probability of failure is less than one failure per 1000 power cycles. When the failure occurs, the internal clock frequency is around 1/20 of the correct frequency. 2013-09-24intel: Remove extern from function prototypesJoe Perches1-20/+18
There are a mix of function prototypes with and without extern in the kernel sources. Standardize on not using extern for function prototypes. Function prototypes don't need to be written with extern. extern is assumed by the compiler. Its use is as unnecessary as using auto to declare automatic/local variables in a block. The i211 has an integrated secure space to store configuration information that is usually stored in an EEPROM or flash type device. This patch updates the read functions to return values or appropriate error codes to prevent unnecessary init failures on some configuration schemes.
