2021-05-11ionic: fix ptp support config breakageShannon Nelson1-0/+1
When IONIC=y and PTP_1588_CLOCK=m were set in the .config file the driver link failed with undefined references. We add the dependancy depends on PTP_1588_CLOCK || !PTP_1588_CLOCK to clear this up. If PTP_1588_CLOCK=m, the depends limits IONIC to =m (or disabled). If PTP_1588_CLOCK is disabled, IONIC can be any of y/m/n. 2020-06-26docs: networking: reorganize driver documentation againJakub Kicinski1-1/+1
Organize driver documentation by device type. Most documents have fairly verbose yet uninformative names, so let users first select a well defined device type, and then search for a particular driver. While at it rename the section from Vendor drivers to Hardware drivers. This seems more accurate, besides people sometimes refer to out-of-tree drivers as vendor drivers. 2019-10-01ionic: select CONFIG_NET_DEVLINKArnd Bergmann1-0/+1
When no other driver selects the devlink library code, ionic produces a link failure: drivers/net/ethernet/pensando/ionic/ionic_devlink.o: In function `ionic_devlink_alloc': ionic_devlink.c:(.text+0xd): undefined reference to `devlink_alloc' drivers/net/ethernet/pensando/ionic/ionic_devlink.o: In function `ionic_devlink_register': ionic_devlink.c:(.text+0x71): undefined reference to `devlink_register' Add the same 'select' statement that the other drivers use here.
