2020-01-08net: stmmac: dwmac-sunxi: Allow all RGMII modesChen-Yu Tsai1-1/+1
Allow all the RGMII modes to be used. This would allow us to represent the hardware better in the device tree with RGMII_ID where in most cases the PHY's internal delay for both RX and TX are used. 2019-11-04net: of_get_phy_mode: Change API to solve int/unit warningsAndrew Lunn1-2/+6
Before this change of_get_phy_mode() returned an enum, phy_interface_t. On error, -ENODEV etc, is returned. If the result of the function is stored in a variable of type phy_interface_t, and the compiler has decided to represent this as an unsigned int, comparision with -ENODEV etc, is a signed vs unsigned comparision. Fix this problem by changing the API. Make the function return an error, or 0 on success, and pass a pointer, of type phy_interface_t, where the phy mode should be stored. v2: Return with *interface set to PHY_INTERFACE_MODE_NA on error. Add error checks to all users of of_get_phy_mode() Fixup a few reverse christmas tree errors Fixup a few slightly malformed reverse christmas trees v3: Fix 0-day reported errors. 2016-12-02net: ethernet: stmmac: fix of-node and fixed-link-phydev leaksJohan Hovold1-7/+19
Make sure to deregister and free any fixed-link phy registered during probe on probe errors and on driver unbind by adding a new glue helper function. Drop the of-node reference taken in the same path also on late probe errors (and not just on driver unbind) by moving the put from stmmac_dvr_remove() to the new helper. 2015-12-14stmmac: dwmac-sunxi: Call exit cleanup function in probe error pathChen-Yu Tsai1-1/+5
dwmac-sunxi has 2 callbacks that were called from stmmac_platform as part of the probe and remove sequences. Ater the conversion of dwmac-sunxi into a standalone platform driver, the .init function is called before calling into the stmmac driver core, but .exit is not called to clean up if stmmac returns an error. This patch fixes the probe error path. This properly cleans up and releases resources when the driver core fails to probe. 2015-07-29stmmac: dwmac-sunxi: turn setup callback into a probe functionJoachim Eastwood1-18/+31
By using a few functions from stmmac_platform a proper probe function can be created from the setup glue callback. This makes it look more like a standard driver and the OF match data can also be dropped. Signed-off-by: Joachim Eastwood <manabian@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2014-01-19net: stmmac: sunxi platform extensions for GMAC in Allwinner A20 SoC'sChen-Yu Tsai1-0/+140
The Allwinner A20 has an ethernet controller that seems to be an early version of Synopsys DesignWare MAC 10/100/1000 Universal, which is supported by the stmmac driver. Allwinner's GMAC requires setting additional registers in the SoC's clock control unit. The exact version of the DWMAC IP that Allwinner uses is unknown, thus the exact feature set is unknown.
