2017-09-05net: mdio-mux: add mdio_mux parameter to mdio_mux_init()Corentin Labbe1-1/+1
mdio_mux_init() use the parameter dev for two distinct thing: 1) Have a device for all devm_ functions 2) Get device_node from it Since it is two distinct purpose, this patch add a parameter mdio_mux that is linked to task 2. This will also permit to register an of_node mdio-mux that lacks a direct owning device. For example a mdio-mux which is a subnode of a real device. 2017-05-08net: mdio-mux: bcm-iproc: call mdiobus_free() in error pathJon Mason1-1/+4
If an error is encountered in mdio_mux_init(), the error path will call mdiobus_free(). Since mdiobus_register() has been called prior to mdio_mux_init(), the bus->state will not be MDIOBUS_UNREGISTERED. This causes a BUG_ON() in mdiobus_free(). To correct this issue, add an error path for mdio_mux_init() which calls mdiobus_unregister() prior to mdiobus_free(). 2016-06-10net: mdio-mux: Add MDIO mux driver for iProc SoCsPramod Kumar1-0/+248
iProc based SoCs supports the integrated mdio multiplexer which has the bus selection as well as mdio transaction generation logic inside. This multiplexer has child buses for PCIe, SATA, USB and ETH. These buses could be internal or external to SOC where PHYs are attached. These buses could use C-45 or C-22 mdio transaction.
