2013-01-07ath9k: fix column header comments for some initval arraysGabor Juhos1-4/+4
Some 3-column initval arrays have wrong comments. The column of these arrays is indexed by the 'freqIndex' variable in 'ar5008_hw_process_ini' which only depends on the actual band. The 'initvals' tool from 'qca-swiss-army-knife' prints the correct comment lines for these arrays, since commit 'atheros-initvals: fix comments for non-fastclock 3-column tables' however the comments were not refreshed in ath9k. The patch contains no functional changes. Signed-off-by: Gabor Juhos <juhosg@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
2011-09-13ath9k_hw: fix the last register write for ar5416 addacFelix Fietkau1-1/+1
The previous register used in these initvals was probably accidentally copied over from the AR9100 values. Signed-off-by: Felix Fietkau <nbd@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
2011-09-13ath9k_hw: drop an unused column in AR5008-AR9002 initvalsFelix Fietkau1-64/+65
It was used for the defunct 'turbo' mode which was never implemented in the driver. Saves ~7.5k uncompressed Signed-off-by: Felix Fietkau <nbd@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>

2010-07-02ath9k_hw: reformat the ar5008, ar9001 and ar9002 initvals to match ar9003Felix Fietkau1-694/+625
This format is generated by the initval tool, available at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/mcgrof/initvals-tool.git Signed-off-by: Felix Fietkau <nbd@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
2010-04-27ath9k: Avoid corrupt frames being forwarded to mac80211.Vivek Natarajan1-1/+1
If bit 29 is set, MAC H/W can attempt to decrypt the received aggregate with WEP or TKIP, eventhough the received frame may be a CRC failed corrupted frame. If this bit is set, H/W obeys key type in keycache. If it is not set and if the key type in keycache is neither open nor AES, H/W forces key type to be open. But bit 29 should be set to 1 for AsyncFIFO feature to encrypt/decrypt the aggregate with WEP or TKIP. 2010-04-16ath9k_hw: split initvals.h by hardware familyLuis R. Rodriguez1-0/+742
The initvals.h file is over 7000 lines now, so instead of adding AR9003 initvals to it instead lets split the current initvals.h by hardware family: AR5008, AR9001, AR9002 The AR9003 family will have its own initval file later.
