2013-03-06brcmfmac: add support for TLV based firmware signallingArend van Spriel1-0/+13
The firmware and host can exchange signals which are carried within the data packets. These are TLV based signals that are inserted before the actual data, ie. ethernet frame. This commit adds the new source module for this feature and enables RSSI signals from firmware. 2013-03-06brcmfmac: introduce tracepoints for message loggingArend van Spriel1-7/+14
Inspired by tracing functionality added by Seth Forshee in the brcmsmac driver, this patch adds similar functionality to brcmfmac. 2013-01-07brcmfmac: Use dedicated trace level for CDC.Hante Meuleman1-15/+16
CDC debug is partly done with TRACE and partly with CTL, however CDC hardly ever needs debugging. Use dedicated level CDC and replace TRACE and CTL in dhd_cdc with that. 2013-01-07brcmfmac: define pr_fmt in one placeArend van Spriel1-0/+4
Several source files (but not all) define the pr_fmt() macro in exactly the same way. Instead this commit defines it in a header file so driver logging is consistent. 2012-12-10brcmfmac: consolidate debug macros in wl_cfg80211Arend van Spriel1-0/+2
The source file wl_cfg80211.c has its own debug macros and levels. This patch maps the macros to the ones used in the rest of the brcmfmac driver. 2012-12-10brcmfmac: error messages should not be suppressedArend van Spriel1-15/+18
The call to brcmf_dbg(ERROR, ...) only resulted in a log message when compiled with -DDEBUG. Error messages are valuable for resolving issues so this patch replaces it with brcmf_err(...) so they always end up in the log. 2012-06-13brcmfmac: add debugfs helper functionsArend van Spriel1-0/+23
This patch adds debugfs support to brcmfmac. It provide helper functions to setup the debugfs folder structure for the driver, which has following hierarchy: <debugfs_mount>/brcmfmac/<dev_name>/ ie.: /sys/kernel/debug/brcmfmac/mmc0:0001:2/ The new source file provides functions to create and remove the two folders and a function to retrieve the device-specific folder so files can be created in it.
