2016-07-06mac80211: Add support for beacon report radio measurementAvraham Stern1-1/+5
Add the following to support beacon report radio measurement with the measurement mode field set to passive or active: 1. Propagate the required scan duration to the device 2. Report the scan start time (in terms of TSF) 3. Report each BSS's detection time (also in terms of TSF) TSF times refer to the BSS that the interface that requested the scan is connected to. 2016-04-12cfg80211: remove enum ieee80211_bandJohannes Berg5-12/+12
This enum is already perfectly aliased to enum nl80211_band, and the only reason for it is that we get IEEE80211_NUM_BANDS out of it. There's no really good reason to not declare the number of bands in nl80211 though, so do that and remove the cfg80211 one. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
2016-03-08wireless: cw1200: use __maybe_unused to hide pm functions_Arnd Bergmann2-9/+9
The cw1200 uses #ifdef to check for CONFIG_PM, but then uses SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS, which leaves the references out when CONFIG_PM_SLEEP is not defined, so we get a warning with PM=y && PM_SLEEP=n: drivers/net/wireless/st/cw1200/cw1200_spi.c:450:12: error: 'cw1200_spi_suspend' defined but not used [-Werror=unused-function] This removes the incorrect #ifdef and instead uses a __maybe_unused annotation to let the compiler know it can silently drop the function definition. For the DEV_PM_OPS definition, we can use an IS_ENABLED() check to avoid defining the structure when CONFIG_PM is not set without the #ifdef. 2016-01-14mac80211: pass block ack session timeout to to driverSara Sharon2-6/+2
Currently mac80211 does not inform the driver of the session block ack timeout when starting a rx aggregation session. Drivers that manage the reorder buffer need to know this parameter. Seeing that there are now too many arguments for the drv_ampdu_action() function, wrap them inside a structure. 2015-12-11cw1200: remove some dead codeDan Carpenter1-6/+0
If the mode is NL80211_IFTYPE_UNSPECIFIED then we return success at the start of the function so this condition is never true. Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
