2018-05-23pinctrl: berlin: switch to SPDX license identifierJisheng Zhang1-4/+1
Use the appropriate SPDX license identifier in the berlin pinctrl driver source file and drop the previous license text. Signed-off-by: Jisheng Zhang <Jisheng.Zhang@synaptics.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2017-02-13pinctrl: berlin: make bool drivers explicitly non-modularPaul Gortmaker1-7/+2
None of the Kconfigs for any of these drivers are tristate, meaning that they currently are not being built as a module by anyone. Lets remove the modular code that is essentially orphaned, so that when reading the driver there is no doubt it is builtin-only. Since module_platform_driver() uses the same init level priority as builtin_platform_driver() the init ordering remains unchanged with this commit. Also note that MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE is a no-op for non-modular code. We also delete the MODULE_LICENSE tag etc. since all that information is already contained at the top of the file in the comments. 2015-10-16pinctrl: berlin: fix BG2CD field widthsThomas Hebb1-30/+32
The previous register layout was incorrect, many of the fields having fewer bits than were needed to represent all their modes. The new layout is taken from the bootloader source of a BG2CD device. 2015-10-16pinctrl: berlin: fix my family name spellingAntoine Ténart1-2/+2
My family name contained an accent when I submitted the Berlin pinctrl series in the first place. There was an encoding issue when the series was applied. Fix this. Pull ARM SoC driver updates from Kevin Hilman: "Some of these are for drivers/soc, where we're now putting SoC-specific drivers these days. Some are for other driver subsystems where we have received acks from the appropriate maintainers. Some highlights: - simple-mfd: document DT bindings and misc updates - migrate mach-berlin to simple-mfd for clock, pinctrl and reset - memory: support for Tegra132 SoC - memory: introduce tegra EMC driver for scaling memory frequency - misc. updates for ARM CCI and CCN busses" * tag 'armsoc-drivers' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (48 commits) drivers: soc: sunxi: Introduce SoC driver to map SRAMs arm-cci: Add aliases for PMU events arm-cci: Add CCI-500 PMU support arm-cci: Sanitise CCI400 PMU driver specific code arm-cci: Abstract handling for CCI events arm-cci: Abstract out the PMU counter details arm-cci: Cleanup PMU driver code arm-cci: Do not enable CCI-400 PMU by default firmware: qcom: scm: Add HDCP Support ARM: berlin: add an ADC node for the BG2Q ARM: berlin: remove useless chip and system ctrl compatibles clk: berlin: drop direct of_iomap of nodes reg property ARM: berlin: move BG2Q clock node ARM: berlin: move BG2CD clock node ARM: berlin: move BG2 clock node clk: berlin: prepare simple-mfd conversion pinctrl: berlin: drop SoC stub provided regmap ARM: berlin: move pinctrl to simple-mfd nodes pinctrl: berlin: prepare to use regmap provided by syscon reset: berlin: drop arch_initcall initialization ...
2015-06-10pinctrl: berlin: comment the spi functionsAntoine Tenart1-4/+4
Add comments for the SPI functions, to distinguish CLK, SDI, SDO and C{0,1,2,3}n. Signed-off-by: Antoine Tenart <antoine.tenart@free-electrons.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2015-06-10pinctrl: berlin: fix spi1 SS0n function nameAntoine Tenart1-1/+1
Rename function ss0 to spi1 to be consistent with the other Berlin function names. Signed-off-by: Antoine Tenart <antoine.tenart@free-electrons.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2015-05-18pinctrl: berlin: drop SoC stub provided regmapAntoine Tenart1-30/+0
With convertsion to simple-mfd sub-nodes, drop the regmap registration by SoC stubs. Signed-off-by: Antoine Tenart <antoine.tenart@free-electrons.com> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Sebastian Hesselbarth <sebastian.hesselbarth@gmail.com>
2015-05-18pinctrl: berlin: prepare to use regmap provided by sysconAntoine Tenart1-0/+8
The Berlin pin controller nodes will be simple-mfd probed sub-nodes of soc-controller and system-controller nodes. The register bank is managed by syscon, which provides a regmap. Prepare to get the regmap from syscon parent node instead of SoC stub provided regmap. 2014-10-20pinctrl: berlin: drop owner assignment from platform_driversWolfram Sang1-1/+0
A platform_driver does not need to set an owner, it will be populated by the driver core. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@the-dreams.de>
2014-05-27pinctrl: berlin: Use devm_ioremap_resource()Jingoo Han1-3/+3
Use devm_ioremap_resource() because devm_request_and_ioremap() is obsoleted by devm_ioremap_resource(). Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Acked-by: Antoine Tenart <antoine.tenart@free-electrons.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2014-05-23pinctrl: berlin: add the BG2CD pinctrl driverAntoine Tenart1-0/+217
Add the pin-controller driver for the Berlin BG2Q SoC, with definition of its groups and functions. Pin control registers are part of chip/ system control registers, which will be represented by a single node. Until a proper driver for the chip/system control is available, register the corresponding regmap in pinctrl driver probe.
