Patch series "Make working with compound pages easier", v2.
These three patches add three helpers and convert the appropriate
places to use them.
This patch (of 3):
It's unnecessarily hard to find out the size of a potentially huge page.
Replace 'PAGE_SIZE << compound_order(page)' with page_size(page).

syzbot found that a thread can stall for minutes inside
ion_system_heap_allocate() after that thread was killed by SIGKILL [1].
Let's check for SIGKILL before doing memory allocation.

Often userspace doesn't know when the kernel will be calling dma_buf_detach
on the buffer.
If userpace starts its CPU access at the same time as the sg list is being
freed it could end up accessing the sg list after it has been freed.
Thread A Thread B
- DMA_BUF_IOCTL_SYNC IOCT
- ion_dma_buf_begin_cpu_access
- list_for_each_entry
- ion_dma_buf_detatch
- free_duped_table
- dma_sync_sg_for_cpu
Fix this by getting the ion_buffer lock before freeing the sg table memory.

Now that ION heap registration has been re-worked to not depend on board
files or have a central heap register helper there is no need to have
this data structure. Most of the fields are unused.
Some heap creation helpers are still available that use this to define
the a heap but only use 2 or 3 elements from this struct, just convert
these to get supplied these values from the heap registrar directly.

"Here is the big staging and iio driver pull request for 4.21-rc1.
Lots and lots of tiny patches here, nothing major at all. Which is
good, tiny cleanups is nice to see. No new huge driver removal or

driver changes, addtions, and movement from staging into the "real"

totalram_pages and totalhigh_pages are made static inline function.
Main motivation was that managed_page_count_lock handling was complicating
things. It was discussed in length here,
https://lore.kernel.org/patchwork/patch/995739/#1181785 So it seemes
better to remove the lock and convert variables to atomic, with preventing
poteintial store-to-read tearing as a bonus.

The vmstat counter NR_INDIRECTLY_RECLAIMABLE_BYTES was introduced by
commit eb59254608bc ("mm: introduce NR_INDIRECTLY_RECLAIMABLE_BYTES") with
the goal of accounting objects that can be reclaimed, but cannot be
allocated via a SLAB_RECLAIM_ACCOUNT cache. This is now possible via
kmalloc() with __GFP_RECLAIMABLE flag, and the dcache external names user
is converted.
The counter is however still useful for accounting direct page allocations
(i.e. not slab) with a shrinker, such as the ION page pool. So keep it,
and:
- change granularity to pages to be more like other counters; sub-page
allocations should be able to use kmalloc
- rename the counter to NR_KERNEL_MISC_RECLAIMABLE
- expose the counter again in vmstat as "nr_kernel_misc_reclaimable"; we can
again remove the check for not printing "hidden" counters

cma_alloc() doesn't really support gfp flags other than __GFP_NOWARN, so
convert gfp_mask parameter to boolean no_warn parameter.
This will help to avoid giving false feeling that this function supports
standard gfp flags and callers can pass __GFP_ZERO to get zeroed buffer,
what has already been an issue: see commit dd65a941f6ba ("arm64:
dma-mapping: clear buffers allocated with FORCE_CONTIGUOUS flag").

The vmalloc() function has no 2-factor argument form, so multiplication
factors need to be wrapped in array_size(). This patch replaces cases of:
vmalloc(a * b)
with:
vmalloc(array_size(a, b))
as well as handling cases of:
vmalloc(a * b * c)
with:
vmalloc(array3_size(a, b, c))
This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:
vmalloc(4 * 1024)
though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.
Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.
The Coccinelle script used for this was:
// Fix redundant parens around sizeof().

Syzbot reported yet another warning with Ion:
WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 1467 at drivers/staging/android/ion/ion.c:122
ion_buffer_destroy+0xd4/0x190 drivers/staging/android/ion/ion.c:122
Kernel panic - not syncing: panic_on_warn set ...
This is catching that a buffer was freed with an existing kernel mapping
still present. This can be easily be triggered from userspace by calling
DMA_BUF_SYNC_START without calling DMA_BUF_SYNC_END. Switch to a single
pr_warn_once to indicate the error without being disruptive.

GCC warns that vaddr is set but unused. Check the return value of
ion_buffer_kmap_get to make vaddr useful and make sure everything
is properly configured before beginning a DMA.

An issue is observed where mallocs are failing due to overcommit failure.
The failure happens when there is high ION page pool since ION page
pool is not considered reclaimable by the overcommit calculation code.
This change considers ion pool pages as indirectly reclaimable and thus
accounted as available memory in the overcommit calculation.

As a result of various previous patches, ion_buffer_create() now
has two sets of identical statements for initializing two fields of
the buffer struct, next to each other. Remove one set.
Move the initialization of these two fields together with the
statements that initialize the other two fields from the function
parameters, prior to the heap allocate() call, for consistency.

We will go on initial idev if failed to create debug_root, and it does
not matter to check the return value of this debugfs call, just remove it.

There's no need to check the return value of debug_file for it is just a
debugfs and we will go on the following process if we failed to create
debug_file. So just remove it.

Fix the dup_sg_table function to initialize the dma_address of the new
sg list entries instead of the source dma_address entries.
Since ION duplicates the sg_list this issue does not appear to result in
an actual bug.

Since commit 204f672255c2 ("staging: android: ion: Use CMA APIs directly")
the CMA API is now used directly and therefore the allocated memory is no
longer automatically zeroed.
Explicitly zero CMA allocated memory to ensure that no data is exposed to
userspace.

caching by the dma_buf sync API, which make cache and uncache pools
in the same handling flow, which can be combined.
