Drive-by cleanup, we don't need to validate the port references here as we
already previously went through the effort of refactoring things such that
we're guaranteed to be able to access ->mstb and ->port safely from
drm_dp_check_and_send_link_address(), since the only two places in the
codebase that drop an MST reference in such a way that it would remove it
from the topology are both protected under probe_lock.

Commit 34a897758efe ("ice: Add support for inner etype in switchdev")
added the ability to match on inner ethertype. A side effect of that change
is that it is now impossible to add some filters for protocols which do not
contain inner ethtype field. tc requires the protocol field to be specified
when providing certain other options, e.g. src_ip. This is a problem in
case of GTP - when user wants to specify e.g. src_ip, they also need to
specify protocol in tc command (otherwise tc fails with: Illegal "src_ip").
Because GTP is a tunnel, the protocol field is treated as inner protocol.
GTP does not contain inner ethtype field and the filter cannot be added.
To fix this, ignore the ethertype field in case of GTP filters.

Commit 5291984004edf ("dm: fix bio polling to handle possibile
BLK_STS_AGAIN") inadvertently introduced an early return from
dm_io_complete() without first queueing the bio to DM if BLK_STS_AGAIN
occurs and bio-polling is _not_ being used.
Fix this by only returning early from dm_io_complete() if the bio has
first been properly queued to DM. Otherwise, the bio will never finish
via bio_endio.

During postsuspend dm-era does the following:
1. Archives the current era
2. Commits the metadata, as part of the RPC call for archiving the
current era
3. Stops the worker
Until the worker stops, it might write to the metadata again. Moreover,
these writes are not flushed to disk immediately, but are cached by the
dm-bufio client, which writes them back asynchronously.
As a result, the committed metadata of a suspended dm-era device might
not be consistent with the in-core metadata.
In some cases, this can result in the corruption of the on-disk
metadata. Suppose the following sequence of events:
1. Load a new table, e.g. a snapshot-origin table, to a device with a
dm-era table
2. Suspend the device
3. dm-era commits its metadata, but the worker does a few more metadata
writes until it stops, as part of digesting an archived writeset
4. These writes are cached by the dm-bufio client
5. Load the dm-era table to another device.
6. The new instance of the dm-era target loads the committed, on-disk
metadata, which don't include the extra writes done by the worker
after the metadata commit.
7. Resume the new device
8. The new dm-era target instance starts using the metadata
9. Resume the original device
10. The destructor of the old dm-era target instance is called and
destroys the dm-bufio client, which results in flushing the cached
writes to disk
11. These writes might overwrite the writes done by the new dm-era
instance, hence corrupting its metadata.
Fix this by committing the metadata after the worker stops running.
stop_worker uses flush_workqueue to flush the current work. However, the
work item may re-queue itself and flush_workqueue doesn't wait for
re-queued works to finish.
This could result in the worker changing the metadata after they have
been committed, or writing to the metadata concurrently with the commit
in the postsuspend thread.
Use drain_workqueue instead, which waits until the work and all
re-queued works finish.

Nothing defined in the header is used by drivers/firmware/efi/sysfb_efi.c
but also, including it can lead to build errors when built on arches that
don't have an asm/efi.h header file.
This can happen for example if a driver that is built when COMPILE_TEST is
enabled selects the SYSFB symbol, e.g. on powerpc with allyesconfig:

This implements the callback added by the patch ("drm/dp: Add
wait_hpd_asserted() callback to struct drm_dp_aux").
With this change and all the two "DP AUX Endpoint" drivers changed to
use wait_hpd_asserted(), we no longer need to have an long delay in
the AUX transfer function. It's up to the panel code to make sure that
the panel is powered now. If someone tried to call the aux transfer
function without making sure the panel is powered we'll just get a
normal transfer failure.
We'll still keep the wait for HPD in the pre_enable() function. Though
it's probably not actually needed there, this driver is used in the
old mode (pre-DP AUX Endpoints) and it may be important for those
cases. If nothing else, it shouldn't cause any big problems.
NOTE: When handling the timeout for HPD we start the timer _after_
we've runtime resumed the device. This is definitely important for the
panel on my homestar which comes up 170 ms after we start timing (the
panel specifies 200 ms max). It's a little unclear how much of this
extra time is due to some internal state machine in the parade
firmware vs. debouncing but it seems to work for the two test cases I
have to do it this way.

Let's add support for being able to read the HPD pin even if it's
hooked directly to the controller. This will let us take away the
waiting in the AUX transfer functions of the eDP controller drivers.

Let's add support for being able to read the HPD pin even if it's
hooked directly to the controller. This will allow us to get more
accurate delays also lets us take away the waiting in the AUX transfer

Panel orientation property should be set before drm_dev_register().
Some drm driver calls drm_dev_register() in .bind(). However, most
panels sets orientation property relatively late, mostly in .get_modes()
callback, since this is when they are able to get the connector and
binds the orientation property to it, though the value should be known
when the panel is probed.
In drm_bridge_connector_init(), if a bridge is a panel bridge, use it to
set the connector's panel orientation property.

Panels usually call drm_connector_set_panel_orientation(), which is
later than drm/kms driver calling drm_dev_register(). This leads to a
WARN().
The orientation property is known earlier. For example, some panels
parse the property through device tree during probe.
Add an API to return the property from panel to drm/kms driver, so the
drivers are able to call drm_connector_set_orientation_from_panel() before
drm_dev_register().

commit 979934da9e7a ("[PATCH] mips: update IRQ handling for vr41xx") added
a function irq_dispatch, and it'll increase irq_err_count when the get_irq
callback returns a negative value, but increase irq_err_count in get_irq
was not removed.
And also, modpost complains once gpio-vr41xx drivers become modules.
ERROR: modpost: "irq_err_count" [drivers/gpio/gpio-vr41xx.ko] undefined!
So it would be a good idea to remove repetitive increase irq_err_count in
get_irq callback.

The Octeon usb driver has been in staging for a long time and used in
Ubiquiti routers for a while now.
It's been built and then tested on real hardware with several usb devices
and it is proven to be stable and ready to be moved to its proper place
in the kernel tree.
Move it to drivers/usb/host and adjust its Makefile, Kconfig and defconfig
dependencies.

In musb_{save|restore}_context() the expression '&musb->endpoints[i]' just
cannot be NULL, so the checks have no sense at all -- after dropping them,
the local variables 'hw_ep' are no longer necessary, so drop them as well.
Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with the SVACE static
analysis tool.

Loosen the typec_mux_match() requirements so that searches where an
alt mode is not specified, but the target mux device lists the
"mode-switch" property, return a success.
This is helpful in Type C port drivers which would like to get a pointer
to the mux switch associated with a Type C port, but don't want to
specify a particular alt mode.

If dwc3 is wakeup capable, keep the power domain always ON so that
wakeup from system suspend can be supported. Otherwise, keep the
power domain ON only during runtime suspend to support wakeup from
runtime suspend.

Configure DP/DM line interrupts based on the USB2 device attached to
the root hub port. When HS/FS device is connected, configure the DP line
as falling edge to detect both disconnect and remote wakeup scenarios. When
LS device is connected, configure DM line as falling edge to detect both
disconnect and remote wakeup. When no device is connected, configure both
DP and DM lines as rising edge to detect HS/HS/LS device connect scenario.

Check wakeup-source property for dwc3 core node to set the
wakeup capability. Drop the device_init_wakeup call from
runtime suspend and resume.
If the dwc3 is wakeup capable, don't power down the USB PHY(s).
The glue drivers are expected to take care of configuring the
additional wakeup settings if needed based on the dwc3 wakeup
capability status. In some SOC designs, powering off the PHY is
resulting in higher leakage, so this patch save power on such boards.

Synopsys IP DWC_usb32 and DWC_usb31 version 1.90a and above deprecated
GCTL.CORESOFTRESET. The DRD mode switching flow is updated to remove the
GCTL soft reset. Add version checks to prevent using deprecated setting
in mode switching flow.

With Xen PV Display driver in use the "expected" VM_DONTEXPAND flag
is not set (neither explicitly nor implicitly), so the driver hits
the code path in drm_gem_mmap_obj() which triggers the WARNING.

info->rq and info->gd are only set in blkfront_connect(), which is
called for state 4 (XenbusStateConnected). Guard against using NULL
variables in blkfront_closing() to avoid the issue.
The rest of blkfront_closing looks okay. If info->nr_rings is 0, then
for_each_rinfo won't do anything.
blkfront_remove also needs to check for non-NULL pointers before
cleaning up the gendisk and request queue.

The "chunk >= 0" condition does not work because count is a u32.
Also, really we shouldn't enter the loop when "chunk" is zero.
Once that condition is fixed then there is no need for the "last"
variable. I reversed the "if (chunk <= ep->chunk_max)" as well.
The new loop is much simpler.

Intel SoC PMIC is a generic name for all PMICs that are used
on Intel platforms. In particular, INTEL_SOC_PMIC kernel configuration
option refers to Crystal Cove PMIC, which has never been a part
of any Intel Broxton hardware. Drop wrong dependency from Kconfig.
Note, the correct dependency is satisfied via ACPI PMIC OpRegion driver,
which the Type-C depends on.

A panic can occur if the endpoint becomes disabled and the
uvcg_video_pump adds the request back to the req_free list after it has
already been queued to the endpoint. The endpoint complete will add the
request back to the req_free list. Invalidate the local request handle
once it's been queued.

This patch assigns the get_phy_flags & mtu hook of ksz8795 and ksz9477
in dsa_switch_ops to ksz_common. For get_phy_flags hooks,checks whether
