In the other places in this function, guc->ads_map is being protected
from access when it's not yet set. However the last check is actually
about guc->ads_golden_ctxt_size been set before. These checks should
always match as the size is initialized on the first call to
guc_prep_golden_context(), but it's clearer if we have a single return
and check for guc->ads_golden_ctxt_size.
This is just a readability improvement, no change in behavior.

Use the saved ads_map to prepare the golden context. One difference from
the init context is that this function can be called before there is a
gem object (and thus the guc->ads_map) to calculare the size of the
golden context that should be allocated for that object.
So in this case the function needs to be prepared for not having the
system_info with enabled engines filled out. To accomplish that an
info_map is prepared on the side to point either to the gem object
or the local variable on the stack. This allows making
fill_engine_enable_masks() operate always with a iosys_map
argument.

Add a variant of shmem_read() that takes a iosys_map pointer rather
than a plain pointer as argument. It's mostly a copy __shmem_rw() but
adapting the api and removing the write support since there's currently
only need to use iosys_map as destination.
Reworking __shmem_rw() to share the implementation was tempting, but
finding a good balance between reuse and clarity pushed towards a little
code duplication. Since the function is small, just add the similar
function with a copy/paste/adapt approach.

If the state is not idle then resolve_prepare_src() should immediately
fail and no change to global state should happen. However, it
unconditionally overwrites the src_addr trying to build a temporary any
address.
For instance if the state is already RDMA_CM_LISTEN then this will corrupt
the src_addr and would cause the test in cma_cancel_operation():
if (cma_any_addr(cma_src_addr(id_priv)) && !id_priv->cma_dev)
Which would manifest as this trace from syzkaller:

This is indicating that an rdma_id_private was destroyed without doing
cma_cancel_listens().
Instead of trying to re-use the src_addr memory to indirectly create an
any address derived from the dst build one explicitly on the stack and
bind to that as any other normal flow would do. rdma_bind_addr() will copy
it over the src_addr once it knows the state is valid.

For some reason, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 uses the standard ACPI
interface for battery information, but does not use the standard PNP0C0A
HID. Instead it uses MSHW0146 as identifier. Add that ID to the driver
as this seems to work well.
Additionally, the power state is not updated immediately after the AC

Add additional attributes, which helps in implementing algorithm in
the user space to optimize fan control. These attributes are presented
in the same directory as the existing performance state attributes.
Additional attributes:
1. Support of fine grain control
Publish support of presence of fine grain control so that fan speed
can be tuned correctly. This attribute is called "fine_grain_control".
2. fan speed
Publish the actual fan rpm in sysfs. Knowing fan rpm is helpful to
reduce noise level and use passive control instead. Also fan performance
may not be same over time, so the same control value may not be enough
to run the fan at a speed. So a feedback value of speed is helpful. This
sysfs attribute is called "fan_speed_rpm".

When _FIF object specifies support for fine grain control, then fan speed
can be set from 0 to 100% with the recommended minimum "step size" via
_FSL object. Here the control value doesn't need to match any value from
_FPS object.
Currently we have a simple solution implemented which just pick maximum
control value from _FPS to display the actual state, but this is not
optimal when there is a big window between two control values in
_FPS. Also there is no way to set to any speed which doesn't match
control values in _FPS. The system firmware can start the fan at speed
which doesn't match any control value.
To support fine grain control (when supported) via thermal sysfs:
- cooling device max state is not _FPS state count but it will be
100 / _FIF.step_size
Step size can be from 1 to 9.
- cooling device current state is _FST.control / _FIF.step_size
- cooling device set state will set the control value
cdev.curr_state * _FIF.step_size plus any adjustment for 100%.
By the spec, when control value do not sum to 100% because of
_FIF.step_size, OSPM may select an appropriate ending Level increment
to reach 100%.
There is no rounding during calculation. For example if step size
is 6:
thermal sysfs cooling device max_state = 100/6 = 16
So user can set any value from 0-16.
If the system boots with a _FST.control which is not multiples
of step_size, the thermal sysfs cur_state will be based on the
range. For example for step size = 6:
_FST.control thermal sysfs cur_state
------------------------------------------------
0-5 0
6-11 1
..
..
90-95 15
96-100 16
While setting the _FST.control, the compensation will be at
the last step for cur_state = 16, which will set the _FST.control
to 100.

We don't need u64 to store the information about _FIF. There are two
booleans (fine_grain_ctrl and low_speed_notification) and one field
step_size which can take value from 1-9. There are no internal users
of revision field. So convert all fields to u8, by not directly
extracting the _FIF info the struct. Use an intermediate buffer to
extract and assign.
This will help to do u32 math using these fields. No functional
changes are expected.

Move the functionality of creation of sysfs attributes under acpi device

When user get/set cur_state fails, it should be some negative error
value instead of whatever returned by acpi_evaluate_object() or from
acpi_execute_simple_method(). The return value from these apis is
some positive values greater than 0. For example if AE_NOT_FOUND
is returned it will be "5".
In other ACPI drivers, -ENODEV is returned when ACPI_FAILURE(status)
is true. Do the same thing here for thermal sysfs callbacks for
get and set for failures.

The setup of __IAVF_RESETTING state in watchdog task had no
effect and could lead to slow resets in the driver as
the task for __IAVF_RESETTING state only requeues watchdog.
Till now the __IAVF_RESETTING was interpreted by reset task
as running state which could lead to errors with allocating
and resources disposal.
Make watchdog_task queue the reset task when it's necessary.
Do not update the state to __IAVF_RESETTING so the reset task
knows exactly what is the current state of the adapter.

When iavf_init_version_check sends VIRTCHNL_OP_GET_VF_RESOURCES
message, the driver will wait for the response after requeueing
the watchdog task in iavf_init_get_resources call stack. The
logic is implemented this way that iavf_init_get_resources has
to be called in order to allocate adapter->vf_res. It is polling
for the AQ response in iavf_get_vf_config function. Expect a
call trace from kernel when adminq_task worker handles this
message first. adapter->vf_res will be NULL in
iavf_virtchnl_completion.

process is not finished yet.

iavf_virtchnl_completion is called under crit_lock but when
the code for VIRTCHNL_OP_GET_OFFLOAD_VLAN_V2_CAPS is called,
this lock is released in order to obtain rtnl_lock to avoid
ABBA deadlock with unregister_netdev.
Along with the new way iavf_remove behaves, there exist
many risks related to the lock release and attmepts to regrab
it. The driver faces crashes related to races between
unregister_netdev and netdev_update_features. Yet another
risk is that the driver could already obtain the crit_lock
in order to destroy it and iavf_virtchnl_completion could
crash or block forever.
Make iavf_virtchnl_completion never relock crit_lock in it's
call paths.
Extract rtnl_lock locking logic to the driver for
unregister_netdev in order to set the netdev_registered flag
inside the lock.
Introduce a new flag that will inform adminq_task to perform
the code from VIRTCHNL_OP_GET_OFFLOAD_VLAN_V2_CAPS right after
it finishes processing messages. Guard this code with remove
flags so it's never called when the driver is in remove state.

When init states of the adapter work, the errors like lack
of communication with the PF might hop in. If such events
occur the driver restores previous states in order to retry
initialization in a proper way. When remove task kicks in,
this situation could lead to races with unregistering the
netdevice as well as resources cleanup. With the commit
introducing the waiting in remove for init to complete,
this problem turns into an endless waiting if init never
recovers from errors.
Introduce __IAVF_IN_REMOVE_TASK bit to indicate that the
remove thread has started.
Make __IAVF_COMM_FAILED adapter state respect the
__IAVF_IN_REMOVE_TASK bit and set the __IAVF_INIT_FAILED
state and return without any action instead of trying to
recover.
Make __IAVF_INIT_FAILED adapter state respect the
__IAVF_IN_REMOVE_TASK bit and return without any further
actions.

__IAVF_INIT_FAILED state set.

There exist races when port is being configured and remove is
triggered.
unregister_netdev is not and can't be called under crit_lock
mutex since it is calling ndo_stop -> iavf_close which requires
this lock. Depending on init state the netdev could be still
unregistered so unregister_netdev never cleans up, when shortly
after that the device could become registered.
Make iavf_remove wait until port finishes initialization.
All critical state changes are atomic (under crit_lock).
Crashes that come from iavf_reset_interrupt_capability and
iavf_free_traffic_irqs should now be solved in a graceful
manner.

The driver used to crash in multiple spots when put to stress testing
of the init, reset and remove paths.
The user would experience call traces or hangs when creating,
resetting, removing VFs. Depending on the machines, the call traces
are happening in random spots, like reset restoring resources racing
with driver remove.

operations performed on all workqueues and functions dealing with
resource allocation and disposal.
Make __IAVF_REMOVE a final state of the driver respected by
workqueues that shall not requeue, when they fail to obtain the
