Replace dev_printk() with a generic dev_err_probe() helper which silences
noisy error messages about deferred probe and makes easy to debug failing
deferred probe by printing notification about the failure to KMSG in the
end of kernel booting process and by adding failing device and the reason
of deferred probe to devices_deferred of debugfs. This was proven to be
useful in the case of eDP driver regression by immediately showing why
display driver was failing when user asked for help, otherwise it would've
been much more difficult to debug such problems on a third party device
that doesn't have developer setup.

Drop the locks around most primary plane register writes.
The lock isn't needed since each plane's register are neatly
contained on their own cachelines.
The one exception we have to make is DSPADDR/DSPSURF which is
(ab)used to also trigger FBC nukes on pre-snb (since the
hardware doesn't seem to have any dedicated mechanism to
trigger nukes). So we need to keep the lock around it to
protect against the rmw performed by the fbc code.

Drop the locks around cursor plane register writes. The
lock isn't needed since each plane's register are neatly
contained on their own cachelines.
The locking did have a secondary effect of disabling
interrupts around the cursor registers writes though.
If we drop that then we open outselves up for sceduling
delays and whatnot while on the middle of the register
writes. That increases the chance of not all the register
writes land during the same frame. For normal atomic
commits this is not a concern as the vblank evade mechanism
anyway disables interrupts around the update, but the legacy
cursor codepath does not. Technically we should do a vblank
evade there as well, but so far no one has bothered to hook
that up. So in the meantime let's put an explicit local irq
disable/enable around the legacy cursor update to keep the
race window minimal.

On icl+ all plane registers are armed by PLANE_SURF, so we can
move almost everything over into the update_noarm() hook.
The PLANE_CTL write has to stay in the icl_update_arm() hook though
as it still exhibits the somewhat annoying self-arming behaviour
when the plane transitioning from disabled to enabled.
We could either do a full split for skl+ vs. icl+, or we could try
some other kind of split where we'd eg. keep most things in the skl+
functions and call them from the icl+ functions. I think a full split
is probably the cleaner approach since we've anyway accumulated quite
a bit of icl+ specific things, so that is what I opted to do.

When the interrupt handler does not have a valid cycle counter, it calls
get_reg() to read a register from the irq stack, in round-robin.
Currently it does this assuming that registers are 32-bit. This is
_probably_ the case, and probably all platforms without cycle counters
are in fact 32-bit platforms. But maybe not, and either way, it's not
quite correct. This commit fixes that to deal with `unsigned long`
rather than `u32`.

mt7915e registers a cooling_device with wrong semantics:
1. cooling_device expect that higher states values should cool more, but
mt7915e did the opposite... with the exception of state == 0, which
should "disable thermal management", but does not seem to have any
effect since the previous state is kept.
The result is that when the thermal zone heats up a bit and bumps the
cooling_device state from 0 to 1 to cool a bit, the performance is
destroyed, and when going back from 1 to 0, the performance stays bad.
2. Reading the cooling_device state does not always return the last
written state, but can return the actual hardware throttle state,
which is different.
This is a problem because the mt7915 firmware actually implement the
equivalent of a thermal zone with trip points. Setting the cooling
device state actually changes the throttles at each trip point, so the
following could occur if the first issue is fixed:
- thermal subsystem set state to 100% power (state=0)
- mt7915e driver set trip throttles to [100%, 50%, 25%, 12%]
- hardware heats up and decides to switch to 50% power
- thermal subsystem see that power is 50% (state=50), decide to increase
it to 60% (state=40) because the rest of the system is cool.
- mt7915e driver set trip throttle to [60%, 30%, 15%, 7%]
- hardware thus switches to 30% power
[race to the bottom continues...]
This patch corrects the semantics of the cooling_device to the one that
the thermal subsystem expect it.

The variable timeout is being initialized with a value that is never
read, it is being re-assigned the same value later on. Remove the
redundant initialization and keep the latter assignment because it's
closer to the use of the variable.

The Renesas RZ/G2L, RZ/G2LC, RZ/G2UL and RZ/V2L SoCs have identical IP
blocks for which drivers are common. To avoid updating the Kconfig
files for drivers in common to each SoC, introduce the ARCH_RZG2L config
option.
The ARCH_RZG2L config option will be selected by the above mentioned
SoCs, and the ARCH_RZG2L config option will be used as a dependency for
the drivers in common.
While at it, move PM and PM_GENERIC_DOMAINS under the ARCH_RZG2L config
option instead of keeping it for individual SoCs.
