Split 6G band into 8 sub-bands where indexes are from 0 to 7,
i.e. RTW89_CH_6G_BAND_IDX[0-7]. Then, decide subband by both
band and channel instead of just channel because conflicts
between 5G channels and 6G channels.
Moreover, add default case to the existing use of switch (subband).

BCM43454/6 is a variant of BCM4345 which is exactly identical to
BCM4345/6, except the chip id is 0xa9be. This patch adds support
for BCM43454/6 by handing it in the same way as BCM4345.
Note: when loading some specific version of BCM4345 firmware, the
chip id may become 0x4345. This is an expected behavior, and it will
restore to 0xa9be after power cycle.

More than 20000 PPDU id jumping causing status ring and destination
ring processing not sync. The status ring is processed and the
destination ring is not processed. Since destination is not reaped for
so long, backpressure occurs at the destination ring.
To address this issue update the PPDU id with the latest PPDU, this
will allow the destination ring to be reaped and will prevent the
rings from getting out of sync.

Radar detection fails in the secondary 80 MHz when the
the AP's primary 80 MHz is in non-DFS region in 160 MHz.
This is due to WMI channel flag WMI_CHAN_INFO_DFS_FREQ2 is not set

HALPHY detects the radar pulses in the secondary 80 MHz only when
WMI_CHAN_INFO_DFS_FREQ2 is set.

Jan reported that on Turris Omnia (Armada 385), no PCIe devices were
detected after upgrading from v5.16.1 to v5.16.3 and identified the cause
as the backport of 91a8d79fc797 ("PCI: mvebu: Fix configuring secondary bus

91a8d79fc797 was incorrectly applied from mailing list patch [1] to the

On newer AMD platforms with SFH, it is observed that random interrupts
get generated on the SFH hardware and until this is cleared the firmware
sensor processing is stalled, resulting in no data been received to
driver side.

WWAN driver call's wwan_get_debugfs_dir() to obtain
WWAN debugfs dir entry. As part of this procedure it
returns a reference to a found device.
Since there is no debugfs interface available at WWAN
subsystem, it is not possible to drop dev reference post
debugfs use. This leads to side effects like post wwan
driver load and reload the wwan instance gets increment
from wwanX to wwanX+1.
A new debugfs interface is added in wwan subsystem so that
wwan driver can drop the obtained dev reference post debugfs
use.

When reset GPIO was missing, the driver was still printing an info
message and still trying to assert the reset. Although gpiod_set_value()
will silently ignore calls with NULL gpio_desc, it is better to make it
clear the driver might allow gpio_desc to be NULL.
The initial value for the reset pin was changed to GPIOD_OUT_LOW,
followed by a gpiod_set_value() asserting the reset. This way, it will
be easier to spot if and where the reset really happens.
A new "asserted RESET" message was added just after the reset is
asserted, similar to the existing "deasserted RESET" message. Both
messages were demoted to dbg. The code comment is not needed anymore.

Dave suggested a while ago (eleven years by now) "Let's make netif_rx()
work in all contexts and get rid of netif_rx_ni()". Eric agreed and
pointed out that modern devices should use netif_receive_skb() to avoid
the overhead.
In the meantime someone added another variant, netif_rx_any_context(),
which behaves as suggested.
netif_rx() must be invoked with disabled bottom halves to ensure that
pending softirqs, which were raised within the function, are handled.
netif_rx_ni() can be invoked only from process context (bottom halves
must be enabled) because the function handles pending softirqs without
checking if bottom halves were disabled or not.
netif_rx_any_context() invokes on the former functions by checking
in_interrupts().
netif_rx() could be taught to handle both cases (disabled and enabled
bottom halves) by simply disabling bottom halves while invoking
netif_rx_internal(). The local_bh_enable() invocation will then invoke
pending softirqs only if the BH-disable counter drops to zero.
Eric is concerned about the overhead of BH-disable+enable especially in
regard to the loopback driver. As critical as this driver is, it will
receive a shortcut to avoid the additional overhead which is not needed.
Add a local_bh_disable() section in netif_rx() to ensure softirqs are
handled if needed.
Provide __netif_rx() which does not disable BH and has a lockdep assert
to ensure that interrupts are disabled. Use this shortcut in the
loopback driver and in drivers/net/*.c.
Make netif_rx_ni() and netif_rx_any_context() invoke netif_rx() so they
can be removed once they are no more users left.

mv88e6xxx is special among DSA drivers in that it requires the VTU to
contain the VID of the FDB entry it modifies in
mv88e6xxx_port_db_load_purge(), otherwise it will return -EOPNOTSUPP.
Sometimes due to races this is not always satisfied even if external
code does everything right (first deletes the FDB entries, then the
VLAN), because DSA commits to hardware FDB entries asynchronously since
commit c9eb3e0f8701 ("net: dsa: Add support for learning FDB through
notification").
Therefore, the mv88e6xxx driver must close this race condition by
itself, by asking DSA to flush the switchdev workqueue of any FDB
deletions in progress, prior to exiting a VLAN.

Create and utilize bulk regmap reads instead of single access for gathering
stats. The background reading of statistics happens frequently, and over
a few contiguous memory regions.
High speed PCIe buses and MMIO access will probably see negligible

significant performance increase, since the bus configuration and register

It's been a long time since there was any reason to register IOMMU
drivers early. Convert to the standard platform driver helper.

The vendor introduced an updated revision of IQS620A(T) silicon
which is backwards-compatible with previous revisions, the only
exception being the offset used to derive temperature.
Enable this new revision by returning the appropriate offset as
a function of the hardware number provided by the parent MFD.

Individual sub-devices may elect to make decisions based on the
specific revision of silicon encountered at probe. This data is
already read from the device, but is not retained.
Pass this data on to the sub-devices by adding the software and
hardware numbers (registers 0x01 and 0x02, respectively) to the
iqs62x_core struct.

Implementing ops->capable to always return false is pointless since it's
the default behaviour anyway. Clean up the unnecessary implementations.

Add support for R-Car Gen4 like r8a779f0 (R-Car S4-8). The IPMMU
hardware design of r8a779f0 is the same as r8a779a0. So, rename
"r8a779a0" to "rcar_gen4".
