There's some weird junk in intel_atomic_check_bigjoiner()
that's trying to look at the old crtc state's bigjoiner
usage for some reason. That code is totally unnecessary,
and maybe even actively harmful. Not entirely sure which
since it's such a mess that I can't actually wrap my brain
around what it ends up doing.
Either way, thanks to intel_bigjoiner_add_affected_crtcs()
all of the old bigjoiner crtcs are guaranteed to be in the
state already if any one of them is in the state. Also if
any one of those crtcs got flagged for a modeset, then all
of them will have been flagged, and the bigjoiner links
will have been detached via kill_bigjoiner_slave().
So there is no need to look examing any old bigjoiner
usage in intel_atomic_check_bigjoiner(). All we have to care
about is whether bigjoiner is needed for the new state,
and whether we can get the slave crtc we need.

We seem to be missing a few things from the bigjoiner state copy.
Namely hw.mode isn't getting copied (which probably causes PIPESRC
to be misconfigured), CTM/LUTs aren't getting copied (which could
cause the pipe to produced incorrect output), and we also forgot
to copy over the color_mgmt_changed flag so potentially we fail
to do the actual CTM/LUT programming (assuming we aren't doing
a full modeset or fastset). Fix it all.

The core doesn't flag scaling_filter prop changes as needing
a modeset. That doesn't work for us since we only reprogram the
pipe scaler during full modesets and fastsets. So we need to
flag the prop change as a modeset ourselves. Assuming nothing else
has changed the operation will get promoted (demoted?) to a fastset
later.

This reverts commit 0e8ae5a6ff5952253cd7cc0260df838ab4c21009.
0e8ae5a6ff59 ("PCI/portdrv: Do not setup up IRQs if there are no users")
reduced usage of IRQs when we don't think we need them. But Joey, Sergiu,
and David reported choppy GUI rendering, systems that became unresponsive
every few seconds, incorrect values reported by cpufreq, and high IRQ 16
CPU usage.
Joey bisected the issues to 0e8ae5a6ff59, so revert it until we figure out
a better solution.

When using USB charging, the AB8500 charger is periodically
checking VBAT for a threshold at 3.8V.
This crashes badly, as the class_for_each_device() was passed
the wrong argument. I think this has maybe worked by chance
in the past because of how the structs were arranged but it
is leading to crashes now.
Fix this up and also switch to using microvolts for the

The BATCTRL mode reads the temperature of the battery by
enabling a certain probing current (7-20 mA) and then measure
the voltage of the NTC mounted inside the battery.
None of the AB8500 product or the reference designs use this
mode. What we use is the so-called BATTEMP mode which enables
an internal 230 kOhm pull-up to 1.8 V to the external NTC on
pin BatTemp (N16) and then measures the voltage over the NTC
using the ADC:
1.8V (VTVOUT)
|
[ ] 230 kOhm
|
BatTemp +---------------- ADC
Pin N16 | _
|/
[/] NTC
_/|
|
GND
Cut out the BATCTRL code to clear the forest and stop
maintaining code we can never test.
The current inducing method is still used to probe for the
battery type using the internal BTI (battery type indicator)
on the BatCtrl (C3) pin in a separate code path.

Add a new battery driver for the uPI uG3105 battery monitor.
Note the uG3105 is not a full-featured autonomous fuel-gauge. Instead it
is expected to be use in combination with some always on microcontroller
reading its coulomb-counter before it can wrap (must be read every 400
seconds!).
Since Linux does not monitor coulomb-counter changes while the device is
off or suspended, the coulomb counter is not used atm.
So far this driver is only used on x86/ACPI (non devicetree) devs
(also note there is no of_match table). Therefor there is no devicetree
bindings documentation for this driver's "upisemi,rsns-microohm" property
since this is not used in actual devicetree files and the dt bindings
maintainers have requested properties with no actual dt users to
_not_ be added to the dt bindings.
The property's name has been chosen so that it should not need to be
changed if/when devicetree enumeration support gets added later, as it
mirrors "maxim,rsns-microohm" from the "maxim,max17042" bindings.

So far the bq24190_charger driver has been relying on either the chips
default constant_charge_current_max_ua and constant_charge_voltage_max_uv

This does not happen on all boards, causing e.g. the wrong (too low)

drm_gem_cma_mmap() cannot assume every implementation of dma_mmap_wc()
will end up calling remap_pfn_range() (which happens to set the relevant
vma flag, among others), so in order to make sure expectations around
VM_DONTEXPAND are met, let it explicitly set the flag like most other
GEM mmap implementations do.
This avoids repeated warnings on a small minority of systems where the
display is behind an IOMMU, and has a simple driver which does not
override drm_gem_cma_default_funcs. Arm hdlcd is an in-tree affected
driver. Out-of-tree, the Apple DCP driver is affected; this fix is
required for DCP to be mainlined.

The IDVS group size feature was missing. It is used on some Bifrost and
Valhall GPUs, and is the last kernel-relevant Bifrost feature we're
missing.
This feature adds an extra IDVS group size field to the JM_CONFIG
register. In kbase, the value is configurable via the device tree; kbase
uses 0xF as a default if no value is specified. Until we find a device
demanding otherwise, let's always set the 0xF default on devices which
support this feature mimicking kbase's behaviour.
Tuning this register slightly improves performance of index-driven
vertex shading. On Mali-G52 (with Mesa), overall glmark2 score is

Define SoC data structure that includes pci_epc_features, SoC-dependent
callback functions and flags to distinguish the behavior of each SoC.
The callback functions define init() to initialize the controller and
wait() to wait until initialization is completed.
Rename uniphier_pcie_init_ep() to uniphier_pcie_pro5_init_ep() for
initializing PCIe controller implemented in Pro5 SoC. And Pro5 SoC
doesn't have wait() function.

Implement an I2C controller sharing mechanism between the host (kernel)
and PSP co-processor on some platforms equipped with AMD Cezanne SoC.
On these platforms we need to implement "software" i2c arbitration.
Default arbitration owner is PSP and kernel asks for acquire as well
as inform about release of the i2c bus via mailbox mechanism.
+---------+
<- ACQUIRE | |
+---------| CPU |\

| +---------+ \ | |-------

The solution is similar to i2c-designware-baytrail.c implementation, where
we are using a generic i2c-designware-* driver with a small "wrapper".
In contrary to baytrail semaphore implementation, beside internal
acquire_lock() and release_lock() methods we are also applying quirks to
lock_bus() and unlock_bus() global adapter methods. With this in place
all i2c clients drivers may lock i2c bus for a desired number of i2c
transactions (e.g. write-wait-read) without being aware of that such bus
is shared with another entity.
Modify i2c_dw_probe_lock_support() to select correct semaphore
implementation at runtime, since now we have more than one available.
Configure new matching ACPI ID "AMDI0019" and register
ARBITRATION_SEMAPHORE flag in order to distinguish setup with PSP
arbitration.
Add myself as a reviewer for I2C DesignWare in order to help with reviewing
and testing possible changes touching new i2c-designware-amdpsp.c module.

All accesses to controller's registers should be protected on
probe, disable and xfer paths. This is needed for i2c bus controllers
that are shared with but not controller by kernel.

AMD processors include registers capable of selecting between 2 SMBus
ports. Port selection is made during each user access by writing to
FCH::PM::DECODEEN[smbus0sel]. Change the driver to use MMIO during
SMBus port selection because cd6h/cd7h port I/O is not available on
later AMD processors.
