2013-01-11make CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL invisible and defaultKees Cook1-29/+2
This config item has not carried much meaning for a while now and is almost always enabled by default (especially in distro builds). As agreed during the Linux kernel summit, it should be removed. As a first step, remove it from being listed, and default it to on. Once it has been removed from all subsystem Kconfigs, it will be dropped entirely. For items that really are experimental, maintainers should use "default n", optionally include "(EXPERIMENTAL)" in the title, and add language to the help text indicating why the item should be considered experimental. For items that are dangerously experimental, the maintainer is encouraged to follow the above title recommendation, add stronger language to the help text, and optionally use (depending on the extent of the danger, from least to most dangerous): printk(), add_taint(TAINT_WARN), add_taint(TAINT_CRAP), WARN_ON(1), and CONFIG_BROKEN. 2013-01-07ARM: highbank: fix secondary boot and hotplugRob Herring2-12/+2
With commit 384a290 (ARM: gic: use a private mapping for CPU target interfaces), wake-up IPIs now go to all cores as the gic cpu interface numbering may not follow core numbering. This broke secondary boot on highbank since the boot address was already set for all secondary cores, this caused all cores to boot before the kernel was ready. Fix this by moving the setting of the jump address to highbank_boot_secondary instead of highbank_smp_prepare_cpus and highbank_cpu_die. Also, clear the address when we boot. This prevents cores from booting before they are actually triggered and is also necessary to get suspend/resume to work. 2013-01-07ARM: dts: fix highbank cpu mpidr valuesRob Herring1-8/+8
With the addition of commit a0ae0240 (ARM: kernel: add device tree init map function), the cpu reg values must match the cpu mpidr register or we'll get warnings. For some reason, the CLUSTERID on highbank is 9, so the reg value needs to be 0x90n to quiet the warnings.
