2016-08-02nilfs2: move ioctl interface and disk layout to uapi separatelyRyusuke Konishi1-1/+1
The header file "include/linux/nilfs2_fs.h" is composed of parts for ioctl and disk format, and both are intended to be shared with user space programs. This moves them to the uapi directory "include/uapi/linux" splitting the file to "nilfs2_api.h" and "nilfs2_ondisk.h". The following minor changes are accompanied by this migration: - nilfs_direct_node struct in nilfs2/direct.h is converged to nilfs2_ondisk.h because it's an on-disk structure. - inline functions nilfs_rec_len_from_disk() and nilfs_rec_len_to_disk() are moved to nilfs2/dir.c. 2016-05-23nilfs2: clean up old e-mail addressesRyusuke Konishi1-1/+1
E-mail addresses of osrg.net domain are no longer available. This removes them from authorship notices and prevents reporters from being confused. 2016-05-23nilfs2: remove FSF mailing address from GPL noticesRyusuke Konishi1-4/+0
This removes the extra paragraph which mentions FSF address in GPL notices from source code of nilfs2 and avoids the checkpatch.pl error related to it. 2010-07-23nilfs2: get rid of nilfs_bmap_unionRyusuke Konishi1-8/+0
This removes nilfs_bmap_union and finally unifies three structures and the union in bmap/btree code into one. Signed-off-by: Ryusuke Konishi <konishi.ryusuke@lab.ntt.co.jp>
2010-07-23nilfs2: get rid of nilfs_btree usesRyusuke Konishi1-1/+1
This replaces all uses of nilfs_btree struct in implementation of btree mapping with nilfs_bmap struct. Name of local variable "btree" is kept not to bloat amount of change. And, a part of local variables "bmap" is renamed to "btree" to uniform naming rule. Signed-off-by: Ryusuke Konishi <konishi.ryusuke@lab.ntt.co.jp>
2010-07-23nilfs2: verify btree node after readingRyusuke Konishi1-0/+2
This inserts sanity checks soon after read btree node from disk. This allows early detection of broken btree nodes, and helps to narrow down problems due to file system corruption. Signed-off-by: Ryusuke Konishi <konishi.ryusuke@lab.ntt.co.jp>
2010-05-31nilfs2: remove obsolete declarations of cache constructor and destructorRyusuke Konishi1-2/+0
The commit 41c88bd7 ("nilfs2: cleanup multi kmem_cache_{create,destroy} code") consolidated slab constructors and destructors used in nilfs, but it left some declarations in header files. This gets rid of the obsolete declarations. Signed-off-by: Ryusuke Konishi <konishi.ryusuke@lab.ntt.co.jp>
2010-05-10nilfs2: cleanup multi kmem_cache_{create,destroy} codeLi Hong1-3/+20
This cleanup patch gives several improvements: - Moving all kmem_cache_{create_destroy} calls into one place, which removes some small function calls, cleans up error check code and clarify the logic. - Mark all initial code in __init section. - Remove some very obvious comments. - Adjust some declarations. - Fix some space-tab issues. 2009-11-20nilfs2: move definition of struct nilfs_btree_nodeJiro SEKIBA1-22/+0
This is a trivial patch to expose struct nilfs_fs_btree_node. The struct should be exposed outside of kernel, for it is disk format. Signed-off-by: Jiro SEKIBA <jir@unicus.jp> Signed-off-by: Ryusuke Konishi <konishi.ryusuke@lab.ntt.co.jp>
2009-06-10nilfs2: remove nilfs_btree_operations from btree mappingRyusuke Konishi1-26/+0
will remove indirect function calls using nilfs_btree_operations table. Signed-off-by: Ryusuke Konishi <konishi.ryusuke@lab.ntt.co.jp>
2009-06-10nilfs2: remove useless b_low and b_high fields from nilfs_bmap structRyusuke Konishi1-3/+2
This will cut off 16 bytes from the nilfs_bmap struct which is embedded in the on-memory inode of nilfs. The b_high field was never used, and the b_low field stores a constant value which can be determined by whether the inode uses btree for block mapping or not. 2009-04-07nilfs2: B-tree based block mappingKoji Sato1-0/+117
This adds declarations and functions of NILFS2 B-tree. Two variants are integrated in the NILFS2 B-tree. The B-tree for the most files points to the child nodes or data blocks with virtual block addresses, whereas the B-tree of the DAT uses actual block addresses.
