2007-05-30[ARM] use __used attributeDavid Rientjes1-1/+1
Use the newly introduced __used attribute in place of the deprecated __attribute_used__. Functionally the same. Signed-off-by: David Rientjes <rientjes@google.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-03-21[ARM] 3261/2: remove phys_ram from struct machine_desc (part 3)Nicolas Pitre1-4/+1
Patch from Nicolas Pitre This field is redundent since it must be equal to PHYS_OFFSET anyway. There is no reference to it anymore so remove it at last. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@cam.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-01-15[ARM] Fix missing compiler.h includeRussell King1-0/+2
asm/mach/arch.h introduced a __deprecated, but didn't include compiler.h, causing: In file included from arch/arm/mach-at91rm9200/devices.c:13: include/asm/mach/arch.h:23: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or union include/asm/mach/arch.h:23: error: syntax error before 'phys_ram' include/asm/mach/arch.h:34: error: syntax error before ':' token include/asm/mach/arch.h:35: error: syntax error before ':' token include/asm/mach/arch.h:36: error: syntax error before ':' token include/asm/mach/arch.h:37: error: syntax error before ':' token include/asm/mach/arch.h:45: error: syntax error before '}' token Add the necessary include. 2006-01-13[ARM] 3260/1: remove phys_ram from struct machine_desc (part 2)Nicolas Pitre1-1/+1
Patch from Nicolas Pitre This field is redundent since it must be equal to PHYS_OFFSET anyway. Now that no code uses it anymore, mark it deprecated and remove all initializations from the tree. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@cam.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-10-29[ARM] Ensure machine information structures aren't optimised awayRussell King1-0/+1
Since the machine information structures are now static, the compiler might optimise them away. Mark them with __attribute_used__ to prevent this occuring. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-10-28[ARM] Fix sparse warningsRussell King1-3/+3
Fix sparse warnings in arch/arm/kernel/module.c, arch/arm/mm/consistent.c, drivers/pcmcia/sa1111_generic.c, and platform support files. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-20[ARM] 2927/1: .arch.info - postfix section with .init for `make buildcheck`Ben Dooks1-1/+1
Patch from Ben Dooks The `make buildcheck` is erroneously reporting that the .arch.info list is referencing items in the .init section as it is not itself postfixed with .init Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-07-03[PATCH] ARM: Remove machine description macrosRussell King1-32/+0
Remove the pointless machine description macros, favouring C99 initialisers instead. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
