2007-10-23sh/sh64: fixup dma-mapping for new sg layoutJens Axboe1-7/+5
Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <jens.axboe@oracle.com>
2007-08-10sh: Add missing dma_sync_single_range_for_*().Paul Mundt1-0/+19
The b44 build uses these, caught by allmodconfig: drivers/net/b44.c: In function `b44_sync_dma_desc_for_cpu': drivers/net/b44.c:159: error: implicit declaration of function `dma_sync_single_range_for_cpu' Follow the sparc64 change and stub them in. 2007-07-26sh: Kill off virt_to_bus()/bus_to_virt().Paul Mundt1-4/+4
Wire up ARCH_NO_VIRT_TO_BUS, and kill off the remaining users. The dma-mapping code really wanted virt_to_phys()/phys_to_virt() anyways, there are no inherently special bus addresses. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2007-02-13sh: define dma noncoherent API functions.Paul Mundt1-0/+4
sh was missing these, too. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2006-12-12sh: Fixup dma_cache_sync() callers.Paul Mundt1-5/+5
This now takes a struct device, update all of the callers. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2006-12-07[PATCH] Pass struct dev pointer to dma_cache_sync()Ralf Baechle1-1/+1
Pass struct dev pointer to dma_cache_sync() dma_cache_sync() is ill-designed in that it does not have a struct device pointer argument which makes proper support for systems that consist of a mix of coherent and non-coherent DMA devices hard. Change dma_cache_sync to take a struct device pointer as first argument and fix all its callers to pass it. 2006-09-27sh: dma-mapping compile fixes.Paul Mundt1-17/+25
Silly bug, make it build again.. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

2006-01-16[PATCH] sh: DMA updatesPaul Mundt1-12/+13
This extends the current SH DMA API somewhat to support a proper virtual channel abstraction, and also works to represent this through the driver model by giving each DMAC its own platform device. There's also a few other minor changes to support a few new CPU subtypes, and make TEI generation for the SH DMAC configurable. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
