2007-05-31sh: trivial build cleanups.Evgeniy Polyakov1-3/+3
Several errors were spotted during building for custom config (SMP included). Although SMP still does not compile (no ipi and __smp_call_function) and does not work, this looks a bit cleaner. Some other errors obtained via gcc-4.1.0 build. Signed-off-by: Evgeniy Polyakov <johnpol@2ka.mipt.ru> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2006-10-11[PATCH] Consolidate check_signatureMatthew Wilcox1-16/+0
There's nothing arch-specific about check_signature(), so move it to <linux/io.h>. Use a cross between the Alpha and i386 implementations as the generic one. 2006-09-27sh: Consolidated SH7751/SH7780 PCI support.Paul Mundt1-0/+5
This cleans up quite a lot of the PCI mess that we currently have, and attempts to consolidate the duplication in the SH7780 and SH7751 PCI controllers. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

2006-01-16[PATCH] sh: I/O routine cleanups and ioremap() overhaulPaul Mundt1-117/+166
This introduces a few changes in the way that the I/O routines are defined on SH, specifically so that things like the iomap API properly wrap through the machvec for board-specific quirks. In addition to this, the old p3_ioremap() work is converted to a more generic __ioremap() that will map through the PMB if it's available, or fall back on page tables for everything else. An alpha-like IO_CONCAT is also added so we can start to clean up the board-specific io.h mess, which will be handled in board update patches.. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
