2007-10-17Remove dma_cache_(wback|inv|wback_inv) functionsRalf Baechle1-48/+0
dma_cache_(wback|inv|wback_inv) were the earliest attempt on a generalized cache managment API for I/O purposes. Originally it was basically the raw MIPS low level cache API exported to the entire world. The API has suffered from a lack of documentation, was not very widely used unlike it's more modern brothers and can easily be replaced by dma_cache_sync. So remove it rsp. turn the surviving bits back into an arch private API, as discussed on linux-arch. 2007-10-01sh64: Move *_p() I/O routine variants to io.h.Paul Mundt1-0/+7
These were implemented using an ugly macro for just simple wrapping, so we just make the wrapping explicit and move it to io.h instead. Also fixes up some modules: CC [M] drivers/net/8390.o In file included from drivers/net/8390.c:6: drivers/net/lib8390.c: In function 'ei_start_xmit': drivers/net/lib8390.c:329: error: implicit declaration of function 'outb_p' drivers/net/lib8390.c: In function '__ei_interrupt': drivers/net/lib8390.c:457: error: implicit declaration of function 'inb_p' make[2]: *** [drivers/net/8390.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** [drivers/net] Error 2 Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

2006-10-11[PATCH] Consolidate check_signatureMatthew Wilcox1-16/+0
There's nothing arch-specific about check_signature(), so move it to <linux/io.h>. Use a cross between the Alpha and i386 implementations as the generic one. 2006-09-12sh64: Trivial build fixes.Paul Mundt1-0/+7
While we've been sorting out the toolchain fiasco, some of the code has suffered a bit of bitrot. Building with GCC4 also brings up some more build warnings. Trivial fixes for both issues. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2006-01-10[PATCH] include/asm-sh64/: "extern inline" -> "static inline"Adrian Bunk1-4/+4

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
