2018-10-01net/mlx5: Cache the system image guidAlaa Hleihel1-0/+2
The system image guid is a read-only field which is used by the TC offloads code to determine if two mlx5 devices belong to the same ASIC while adding flows. Read this once and save it on the core device rather than querying each time an offloaded flow is added. 2018-03-26net/mlx5: Add packet dropped while vport down statisticsMoshe Shemesh1-0/+3
Added the following packets dropped while vport down statistics: Rx dropped while vport down - counts packets which were steered by e-switch to a vport, but dropped since the vport was down. This counter will be shown on ip link tool as part of the vport rx_dropped counter. Tx dropped while vport down - counts packets which were transmitted by a vport, but dropped due to vport logical link down. This counter will be shown on ip link tool as part of the vport tx_dropped counter. The counters are read from FW by command QUERY_VNIC_ENV. 2018-01-08{net, IB}/mlx5: Manage port association for multiport RoCEDaniel Jurgens1-0/+4
When mlx5_ib_add is called determine if the mlx5 core device being added is capable of dual port RoCE operation. If it is, determine whether it is a master device or a slave device using the num_vhca_ports and affiliate_nic_vport_criteria capabilities. If the device is a slave, attempt to find a master device to affiliate it with. Devices that can be affiliated will share a system image guid. If none are found place it on a list of unaffiliated ports. If a master is found bind the port to it by configuring the port affiliation in the NIC vport context. Similarly when mlx5_ib_remove is called determine the port type. If it's a slave port, unaffiliate it from the master device, otherwise just remove it from the unaffiliated port list. The IB device is registered as a multiport device, even if a 2nd port is not available for affiliation. When the 2nd port is affiliated later the GID cache must be refreshed in order to get the default GIDs for the 2nd port in the cache. Export roce_rescan_device to provide a mechanism to refresh the cache after a new port is bound. In a multiport configuration all IB object (QP, MR, PD, etc) related commands should flow through the master mlx5_core_dev, other commands must be sent to the slave port mlx5_core_mdev, an interface is provide to get the correct mdev for non IB object commands. 2016-07-25net/mlx5e: Query minimum required header copy during xmitHadar Hen Zion1-0/+2
Add support for query the minimum inline mode from the Firmware. It is required for correct TX steering according to L3/L4 packet headers. Each send queue (SQ) has inline mode that defines the minimal required headers that needs to be copied into the SQ WQE. The driver asks the Firmware for the wqe_inline_mode device capability value. In case the device capability defined as "vport context" the driver must check the reported min inline mode from the vport context before creating its SQs. 2016-06-09net/mlx5: E-Switch, Modify node guid on vf set MACNoa Osherovich1-0/+2
In RoCE, the RDMA-CM needs the node guid to establish connection between nodes. Today, the node guid exposed to mlx5 Ethernet VFs is zero, therefore RDMA-CM on the VF is broken. Whenever the administrator sets a MAC for a VF, derive the node guid from it and set it as well in the following way: MAC: e4:1d:2d:b3:f4:01 -> node_guid: e4:1d:2d:ff:fe:b3:f4:01 Fixes: 77256579c6b43 ('net/mlx5: E-Switch, Introduce Vport...') 2016-04-24net/mlx5e: Use vport MTU rather than physical port MTUSaeed Mahameed1-0/+2
Set and report vport MTU rather than physical MTU, Driver will set both vport and physical port mtu and will rely on the query of vport mtu. SRIOV VFs have to report their MTU to their vport manager (PF), and this will allow them to work with any MTU they need without failing the request. Also for some cases where the PF is not a port owner, PF can work with MTU less than the physical port mtu if set physical port mtu didn't take effect. 2016-03-21net/mlx5_core: Add VF param when querying vport counterEli Cohen1-1/+2
Add a vf parameter to mlx5_core_query_vport_counter so we can call it to query counters of virtual functions. Also update current users of the API. PFs may call mlx5_core_query_vport_counter with other_vport set to indicate that they are querying a virtual function. The virtual function to be queried is given by the vf parameter. Virtual function numbering is zero based so the first VF is 0 and so on. When a PF queries its own function, the other_vport parameter is cleared.
