2008-06-09netfilter: ebtables: add IPv6 supportKuo-lang Tseng2-1/+42
It implements matching functions for IPv6 address & traffic class (merged from the patch sent by Jan Engelhardt [jengelh@computergmbh.de] http://marc.info/?l=netfilter-devel&m=120182168424052&w=2), protocol, and layer-4 port id. Corresponding watcher logging function is also added for IPv6. Signed-off-by: Kuo-lang Tseng <kuo-lang.tseng@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2008-04-14[NETFILTER]: bridge: add ebt_nflog watcherPeter Warasin1-0/+21
This patch adds the ebtables nflog watcher to the kernel in order to allow ebtables log through the nfnetlink_log backend. Signed-off-by: Peter Warasin <peter@endian.com> Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net>
2007-10-15[NETFILTER]: Replace sk_buff ** with sk_buff *Herbert Xu1-2/+2
With all the users of the double pointers removed, this patch mops up by finally replacing all occurances of sk_buff ** in the netfilter API by sk_buff *. Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2007-04-25[NETFILTER]: ebt_arp: add gratuitous arp filteringBart De Schuymer1-1/+3
The attached patch adds gratuitous arp filtering, more precisely: it allows checking that the IPv4 source address matches the IPv4 destination address inside the ARP header. It also adds a check for the hardware address type when matching MAC addresses (nothing critical, just for better consistency). 2007-04-25[SK_BUFF]: Introduce skb_mac_header()Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo1-1/+1
For the places where we need a pointer to the mac header, it is still legal to touch skb->mac.raw directly if just adding to, subtracting from or setting it to another layer header. This one also converts some more cases to skb_reset_mac_header() that my regex missed as it had no spaces before nor after '=', ugh. 2006-12-02[NETFILTER]: ebtables: add --snap-arp optionBart De Schuymer2-0/+5
The attached patch adds --snat-arp support, which makes it possible to change the source mac address in both the mac header and the arp header with one rule. Signed-off-by: Bart De Schuymer <bdschuym@pandora.be> Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net>

2006-10-04[NETFILTER]: ebt_mark: add or/and/xor action support to mark targetBart De Schuymer1-0/+12
The following patch adds or/and/xor functionality for the mark target, while staying backwards compatible. Signed-off-by: Bart De Schuymer <bdschuym@pandora.be> Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2006-06-18Add generic Kbuild files for 'make headers_install'David Woodhouse1-0/+4
This adds the Kbuild files listing the files which are to be installed by the 'headers_install' make target, in generic directories. Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>
2006-02-27[NETFILTER]: Restore {ipt,ip6t,ebt}_LOG compatibilityPatrick McHardy1-0/+1
The nfnetlink_log infrastructure changes broke compatiblity of the LOG targets. They currently use whatever log backend was registered first, which means that if ipt_ULOG was loaded first, no messages will be printed to the ring buffer anymore. Restore compatiblity by using the old log functions by default and only use the nf_log backend if the user explicitly said so. Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
