2013-01-11net/xfrm: remove depends on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTALKees Cook1-8/+8
The CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL config item has not carried much meaning for a while now and is almost always enabled by default. As agreed during the Linux kernel summit, remove it from any "depends on" lines in Kconfigs. CC: "David S. Miller" <davem@davemloft.net> CC: Jan Beulich <jbeulich@suse.com> Signed-off-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org> Acked-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2012-05-15xfrm: make xfrm_algo.c a moduleJan Beulich1-4/+9
By making this a standalone config option (auto-selected as needed), selecting CRYPTO from here rather than from XFRM (which is boolean) allows the core crypto code to become a module again even when XFRM=y. 2008-07-25ipsec: ipcomp - Merge IPComp implementationsHerbert Xu1-0/+6
This patch merges the IPv4/IPv6 IPComp implementations since most of the code is identical. As a result future enhancements will no longer need to be duplicated. Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2005-07-11[NET]: move config options out to individual protocolsSam Ravnborg1-0/+15
Move the protocol specific config options out to the specific protocols. With this change net/Kconfig now starts to become readable and serve as a good basis for further re-structuring. The menu structure is left almost intact, except that indention is fixed in most cases. Most visible are the INET changes where several "depends on INET" are replaced with a single ifdef INET / endif pair. Several new files were created to accomplish this change - they are small but serve the purpose that config options are now distributed out where they belongs. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
