2019-05-02ASoC: cs43130: fix a NULL pointer dereferenceKangjie Lu1-0/+2
In case create_singlethread_workqueue fails, the fix returns -ENOMEM to avoid potential NULL pointer dereference. Signed-off-by: Kangjie Lu <kjlu@umn.edu> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2018-09-07regmap: split up regmap_config.use_single_rwDavid Frey1-1/+3
Split regmap_config.use_single_rw into use_single_read and use_single_write. This change enables drivers of devices which only support bulk operations in one direction to use the regmap_bulk_*() functions for both directions and have their bulk operation split into single operations only when necessary. Update all struct regmap_config instances where use_single_rw==true to instead set both use_single_read and use_single_write. No attempt was made to evaluate whether it is possible to set only one of use_single_read or use_single_write. 2018-05-28sound: Use octal not symbolic permissionsJoe Perches1-4/+4
Convert the S_<FOO> symbolic permissions to their octal equivalents as using octal and not symbolic permissions is preferred by many as more readable. see: https://lkml.org/lkml/2016/8/2/1945 Done with automated conversion via: $ ./scripts/checkpatch.pl -f --types=SYMBOLIC_PERMS --fix-inplace <files...> Miscellanea: o Wrapped one multi-line call to a single line Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Acked-by: Vinod Koul <vkoul@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>

Now we can replace Codec to Component. Let's do it. Note: xxx_codec_xxx() -> xxx_component_xxx() .idle_bias_off = 0 -> .idle_bias_on = 1 .ignore_pmdown_time = 0 -> .use_pmdown_time = 1 - -> .endianness = 1 - -> .non_legacy_dai_naming = 1 Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
