2020-01-20selftests: Use consistent include paths for libbpfToke Høiland-Jørgensen1-1/+1
Fix all selftests to include libbpf header files with the bpf/ prefix, to be consistent with external users of the library. Also ensure that all includes of exported libbpf header files (those that are exported on 'make install' of the library) use bracketed includes instead of quoted. To not break the build, keep the old include path until everything has been changed to the new one; a subsequent patch will remove that. 2019-10-05libbpf: stop enforcing kern_version, populate it for usersAndrii Nakryiko1-1/+0
Kernel version enforcement for kprobes/kretprobes was removed from 5.0 kernel in 6c4fc209fcf9 ("bpf: remove useless version check for prog load"). Since then, BPF programs were specifying SEC("version") just to please libbpf. We should stop enforcing this in libbpf, if even kernel doesn't care. Furthermore, libbpf now will pre-populate current kernel version of the host system, in case we are still running on old kernel. This patch also removes __bpf_object__open_xattr from libbpf.h, as nothing in libbpf is relying on having it in that header. That function was never exported as LIBBPF_API and even name suggests its internal version. So this should be safe to remove, as it doesn't break ABI. 2019-10-05libbpf: Fix BTF-defined map's __type macro handling of arraysAndrii Nakryiko1-2/+1
Due to a quirky C syntax of declaring pointers to array or function prototype, existing __type() macro doesn't work with map key/value types that are array or function prototype. One has to create a typedef first and use it to specify key/value type for a BPF map. By using typeof(), pointer to type is now handled uniformly for all kinds of types. Convert one of self-tests as a demonstration. 2019-02-11selftests: bpf: centre kernel bpf objects under new subdir "progs"Jiong Wang1-0/+102
At the moment, all kernel bpf objects are listed under BPF_OBJ_FILES. Listing them manually sometimes causing patch conflict when people are adding new testcases simultaneously. It is better to centre all the related source files under a subdir "progs", then auto-generate the object file list.
