2017-08-01ntb: ntb_test: ensure the link is up before trying to configure the mwsLogan Gunthorpe1-0/+4
After the link tests, there is a race on one side of the test for the link coming up. It's possible, in some cases, for the test script to write to the 'peer_trans' files before the link has come up. To fix this, we simply use the link event file to ensure both sides see the link as up before continuning. 2017-07-06NTB: ntb_test: add parameter for doorbell bitmaskAllen Hubbe1-2/+5
If the test attempts to clear doorbell bits that are invalid for the hardware, then the test will fail. Provide a parameter to specify the doorbell bits to clear. Set default doorbell bits that work for XEON. Signed-off-by: Allen Hubbe <Allen.Hubbe@dell.com> Acked-by: Logan Gunthorpe <logang@deltatee.com> Signed-off-by: Jon Mason <jdmason@kudzu.us>

2017-06-19NTB: ntb_test: fix bug printing ntb_perf resultsLogan Gunthorpe1-1/+1
The code mistakenly prints the local perf results for the remote test so the script reports identical results for both directions. Fix this by ensuring we print the remote result. 2016-08-05ntb_test: Add a selftest script for the NTB subsystemLogan Gunthorpe1-0/+422
This script automates testing doorbells, scratchpads and memory windows for an NTB device. It can be run locally, with the NTB looped back to the same host or use SSH to remotely control the second host. In the single host case, the script just needs to be passed two arguments: a PCI ID for each side of the link. In the two host case the -r option must be used to specify the remote hostname (which must be SSH accessible and should probably have ssh-keys exchanged). A sample run looks like this: $ sudo ./ntb_test.sh 0000:03:00.1 0000:83:00.1 -p 29 Starting ntb_tool tests...
