From a7f7f6248d9740d710fd6bd190293fe5e16410ac Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Masahiro Yamada Date: Sun, 14 Jun 2020 01:50:22 +0900 Subject: treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help' Since commit 84af7a6194e4 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over '---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been gradually decreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances. This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines, I also fixed the indentation. There are a variety of indentation styles found. a) 4 spaces + '---help---' b) 7 spaces + '---help---' c) 8 spaces + '---help---' d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---' e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation) f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---' g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---' In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran the following commend: $ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/' Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada --- arch/hexagon/Kconfig | 12 ++++++------ 1 file changed, 6 insertions(+), 6 deletions(-) (limited to 'arch/hexagon/Kconfig') diff --git a/arch/hexagon/Kconfig b/arch/hexagon/Kconfig index b7d404bbaa0f..667cfc511cf9 100644 --- a/arch/hexagon/Kconfig +++ b/arch/hexagon/Kconfig @@ -31,13 +31,13 @@ config HEXAGON select GENERIC_CLOCKEVENTS_BROADCAST select MODULES_USE_ELF_RELA select GENERIC_CPU_DEVICES - ---help--- + help Qualcomm Hexagon is a processor architecture designed for high performance and low power across a wide variety of applications. config HEXAGON_PHYS_OFFSET def_bool y - ---help--- + help Platforms that don't load the kernel at zero set this. config FRAME_POINTER @@ -83,7 +83,7 @@ choice config HEXAGON_COMET bool "Comet Board" - ---help--- + help Support for the Comet platform. endchoice @@ -104,7 +104,7 @@ config CMDLINE config SMP bool "Multi-Processing support" - ---help--- + help Enables SMP support in the kernel.
