2020-04-08dt-bindings: display: rockchip-vop: add additional propertiesJohan Jonker1-0/+11
In the old txt situation we add/describe only properties that are used by the driver/hardware itself. With yaml it also filters things in a node that are used by other drivers like 'assigned-clocks' and 'assigned-clock-rates' for rk3399 and 'power-domains' for most Rockchip Socs in 'vop' nodes, so add them to 'rockchip-vop.yaml'. 2019-06-05dt-bindings: drm/bridge/synopsys: dw-hdmi: Add "unwedge" for ddc busDouglas Anderson1-0/+7
In certain situations it was seen that we could wedge up the DDC bus on the HDMI adapter on rk3288. The only way to unwedge was to mux one of the pins over to GPIO output-driven-low temporarily and then quickly mux back. Full details can be found in the patch ("drm/bridge/synopsys: dw-hdmi: Add "unwedge" for ddc bus"). Since unwedge requires remuxing the pins, we first need to add to the bindings so that we can specify what state the pins should be in for unwedging. This patch adds the rk3066 VOP definitions. The VOP or LCD Controller serves as interface between framebuffer memory and a display device (LCD panel or TV set). This SOC has two symmetrical LCDC's for a dual panel application. A LCDC has 5 display layers. Only 3 are used here. - Video layer 0 (Win0) - Video layer 1 (Win1) - OSD layer (Win2) Win0 and Win1 are exchangeable. Maximum resolution is 1920x1080. The LCDC0 output is connected to: - LCDC0 IO (without IOMUX) - HDMI TX video input The LCDC1 output is connected to: - LCDC1 IO (with IOMUX) - HDMI TX video input The HDMI TX input can switch between LCDC0 and LCDC1. Pull drm updates from Dave Airlie: "This is the main drm pull request for v4.11. Nothing too major, the tinydrm and mmu-less support should make writing smaller drivers easier for some of the simpler platforms, and there are a bunch of documentation updates. Intel grew displayport MST audio support which is hopefully useful to people, and FBC is on by default for GEN9+ (so people know where to look for regressions). AMDGPU has a lot of fixes that would like new firmware files installed for some GPUs. Other than that it's pretty scattered all over. I may have a follow up pull request as I know BenH has a bunch of AST rework and fixes and I'd like to get those in once they've been tested by AST, and I've got at least one pull request I'm just trying to get the author to fix up. Make it clear that the core bridge/dw_hdmi.txt document isn't a device tree binding by itself but is meant to be referenced by platform device tree bindings, and update the Rockchip and Freescale DWC HDMI TX bindings to reference it. The document about rockchip platform make a mistaken in available compatible name of "rk3288-edp", we should correct it to "rk3288-dp" which correspond to the compatible name in driver. This mistaken was introduced in commit be91c36247089 ("dt-bindings: add document for rockchip variant of analogix_dp"). 2016-07-05drm/rockchip: analogix_dp: introduce the pclk for grfYakir Yang1-0/+6
For RK3399's GRF module, if we want to operate the graphic related grf registers, we need to enable the pclk_vio_grf which supply power for VIO GRF IOs, so it's better to introduce an optional grf clock in driver. This is a quite large renaming to consolidate display related bindings into a single "display" directory from various scattered locations of video, drm, gpu, fb, mipi, and panel.
