Check for rtc_class_ops structures that are only passed to devm_rtc_device_register, rtc_device_register, platform_device_register_data, all of which declare the corresponding parameter as const. Declare rtc_class_ops structures that have these properties as const. 2013-04-29drivers/rtc/rtc-tegra.c: protect suspend/resume callbacks with CONFIG_PM_SLEEPLaxman Dewangan1-2/+2
CONFIG_PM doesn't actually enable any of the PM callbacks, it only allows to enable CONFIG_PM_SLEEP and CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME. This means if CONFIG_PM is used to protect system sleep callbacks then it may end up unreferenced if only runtime PM is enabled. Hence protecting sleep callbacks with CONFIG_PM_SLEEP. 2013-01-22rtc: Convert to devm_ioremap_resource()Thierry Reding1-5/+3
Convert all uses of devm_request_and_ioremap() to the newly introduced devm_ioremap_resource() which provides more consistent error handling. devm_ioremap_resource() provides its own error messages so all explicit error messages can be removed from the failure code paths. CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Use the devres managed resource functions in the probe routine. Also affects the remove routine where the previously used free and release functions are not needed. The devm_* functions eliminate the need for manual resource releasing and simplify error handling. Resources allocated by devm_* are freed automatically on driver detach.
