2019-12-10ASoC: soc-core: find rtd via dai_link pointer at snd_soc_get_pcm_runtime()Kuninori Morimoto1-6/+6
Current snd_soc_get_pcm_runtime() is finding rtd by checking dai_link name. But, it is strange and waste of CPU power, because its user want to get from rtd from dai_link, not from dai_link name. This patch find rtd via dai_link pointer instead of its name. Vendor drivers no longer access a DAI link's runtime by the link index but by matching the link name via snd_soc_get_pcm_runtime(). We assume each DAI link has a unique name. 2012-12-07ASoC: Samsung: Do not register samsung audio dma device as pdevPadmavathi Venna1-3/+3
Previously, the ASoC 'platform' (PCM/DMA) object was instantiated via a platform_device. This didn't represent the hardware well, since there was no separate hardware associated with this platform_device; it was a virtual device with sole purpose to call snd_soc_register_platform(). This change removes the platform_device completely. Each Samsung DAI now registers the ASoC 'platform' itself. Machine drivers are adjusted for the new 'platform' name.
