Pull Devicetree updates from Rob Herring:
"A bit bigger than normal as I've been busy this cycle.
There's a few things with dependencies and a few things subsystem
maintainers didn't pick up, so I'm taking them thru my tree.
The fixes from Johan didn't get into linux-next, but they've been
waiting for some time now and they are what's left of what subsystem
maintainers didn't pick up.
Summary:
- Sync dtc with upstream version v1.4.7-14-gc86da84d30e4
- Work to get rid of direct accesses to struct device_node name and
type pointers in preparation for removing them. New helpers for
parsing DT cpu nodes and conversions to use the helpers. printk
conversions to %pOFn for printing DT node names. Most went thru
subystem trees, so this is the remainder.
- Fixes to DT child node lookups to actually be restricted to child
nodes instead of treewide.
- Refactoring of dtb targets out of arch code. This makes the support
more uniform and enables building all dtbs on c6x, microblaze, and
powerpc.
- Various DT binding updates for Renesas r8a7744 SoC
- Vendor prefixes for Facebook, OLPC
- Restructuring of some ARM binding docs moving some peripheral
bindings out of board/SoC binding files
- New "secure-chosen" binding for secure world settings on ARM
- Dual licensing of 2 DT IRQ binding headers"

The existing IOMMU bindings cannot be used to specify the relationship
between fsl-mc devices and IOMMUs. This patch adds a generic binding for
mapping fsl-mc devices to IOMMUs, using iommu-map property.

Pretty much any node can have a status property, so it doesn't need to
be in examples.
Converted with the following command and removed examples with SoC and
board specific splits:

IDT 89HPESx PCIe-switches exposes SMBus interface to have an access to
the device CSRs and EEPROM. So to properly utilize the interface
functionality, developer should declare a valid dts-file node, which
would refer to the corresponding 89HPESx device.

The SSC is currently not usable with the ASoC simple-audio-card, as
every SSC audio user has to build a platform driver that may do as
little as calling atmel_ssc_set_audio/atmel_ssc_put_audio (which
allocates the SSC and registers a DAI with the ASoC subsystem).
So, have that happen automatically, if the #sound-dai-cells property
is present in devicetree, which it has to be anyway for simple audio
card to work.

Instead of a ramoops-specific node, use a child node of /reserved-memory.
This requires that of_platform_device_create() be explicitly called
for the node, though, since "/reserved-memory" does not have its own
"compatible" property.

ramoops is one of the remaining places where ARM vendors still rely on
board-specific shims. Device Tree lets us replace those shims with
generic code.
These bindings mirror the ramoops module parameters, with two small
differences:
(1) dump_oops becomes an optional "no-dump-oops" property, since ramoops
sets dump_oops=1 by default.
(2) mem_type=1 becomes the more self-explanatory "unbuffered" property.

-The Freescale Management Complex and all associated objects
use message interrupts, and thus an msi-parent is required.
-Define a ranges property to specify the mapping between
the MC address space and the system address space.
-The fsl-mc node may optionally have dpmac sub-nodes that describe
the relationship between the Ethernet MACs which belong to the MC
and the Ethernet PHYs on the system board.

This commit documents bindings to be added to the eeprom_93xx46 driver
which will allow:
- Device word size and read-only attributes to be specified.
- A device-specific compatible string for use with Atmel AT93C46D
EEPROMs.
- Specifying a GPIO line to function as a 'select' or 'enable' signal
prior to accessing the EEPROM.

SRAM bindings for various SoCs, using the mmio-sram genalloc
API, are spread over different places - per SoC vendor. Since all of
these are quite similar (they depend on mmio-sram) move them to a common
place.

This change adds functionality to operate on reserved SRAM partitions
described in device tree file. Two partition properties are added,
"pool" and "export", the first one allows to share a specific partition
for usage by a kernel consumer in the same manner as it is done for
the whole SRAM device, and "export" property provides access to some
SRAM area from userspace over sysfs interface. Practically it is
possible to specify both properties for an SRAM partition, however
simultaneous access from a kernel consumer and from userspace is not
serialized, but still the combination may be useful for debugging
purpose.
The change opens the following scenarios of SRAM usage:
* updates in a particular SRAM area specified by offset and size are
done by bootloader, then this information is utilized by the kernel,
* a particular SRAM area is rw accessed from userspace, the stored
data is persistent on soft reboots,
* a device driver secures SRAM area for its purposes,
* etc.
Note, strictly speaking the added optional properties describe policy
of SRAM usage, rather than hardware, but here the policy mostly
resembles flash partitions in devicetree, which is undoubtedly
a very popular option but it does not describe hardware.

Now that we have the nvmem framework, we can consolidate the common
driver code. Move the driver to the framework, and hopefully, it will
fix the sysfs file creation race.

This updated the documentation of the DT binding to
describe the added wakeup threshold and second wakeup
engine.
It also adds a note, that the axis values may be
negative.

This patchset attempts to standardize the naming of dt-bindings
documents based on the Broadcom vendor prefix of brcm.
Although there are no guidelines currently present for how to name
the dt-bindings document the "vendor,binding.txt" style is in use by
some of the other vendors.

Some SoCs need parts of their sram for special purposes. So while being part
of the peripheral, it should not be part of the genpool controlling the sram.
Therefore add the option to define reserved regions as subnodes of the
sram-node similar to defining reserved global memory regions.

The Allwinner A10 compatibles were following a slightly different compatible
patterns than the rest of the SoCs for historical reasons. Change the compatibles
to match the other pattern in the SID driver for consistency.

Add the option to choose clock on which pin input to SSC (as slave).
Default is on TK pin to SSC, add "atmel,clk-from-rk-pin" option to
specify the clock is on RK pin to SSC.

Allwinner has electric fuses (efuse) on their line of chips. This driver
reads those fuses, seeds the kernel entropy and exports them as a sysfs
node.
These fuses are most likely to be programmed at the factory, encoding
things like Chip ID, some sort of serial number, etc. and appear to be
reasonably unique.
While in theory, these should be writeable by the user, it will probably
be inconvenient to do so. Allwinner recommends that a certain input pin,
labeled 'efuse_vddq', be connected to GND. To write these fuses however,
a 2.5 V programming voltage needs to be applied to this pin.
Even so, they can still be used to generate a board-unique mac from,
board unique RSA key and seed the kernel RNG.
On sun7i additional storage is available, this is initially used for an
UEFI BOOT key, Secure JTAG key, HDMI-HDCP key and vendor specific keys.
Currently supported are the following known chips:
Allwinner sun4i (A10)
Allwinner sun5i (A10s, A13)
Allwinner sun7i (A20)

This patchset renames all uses of "bcm," name bindings to
"brcm," as they were done prior to knowing that brcm had
already been standardized as Broadcom vendor prefix
(in Documentation/devicetree/bindings/vendor-prefixes.txt).
This will not cause any churn on devices because none of
these bindings have made it into production yet.
Also rename the the following dt binding docs that had "bcm,"
in their name for consistency:
- bcm,kona-sdhci.txt -> kona-sdhci.txt
- bcm,kona-timer.txt -> kona-timer.txt

Pull ARM platform specific firmware interfaces from Olof Johansson:
"Two platforms, bcm and exynos have their own firmware interfaces using
the "secure monitor call", this adds support for those.
We had originally planned to have a third set of patches in here,
which would extend support for the existing generic "psci" call that
is used on multiple platforms as well as Xen and KVM guests, but that
ended up getting dropped because the patches were not ready in time."

This driver requests and remaps a memory region as configured in the
device tree. It serves memory from this region via the genalloc API. It
optionally enables the SRAM clock.
Other drivers can retrieve the genalloc pool from a phandle pointing to
this drivers' device node in the device tree.
The allocation granularity is hard-coded to 32 bytes for now, to make the
SRAM driver useful for the 6502 remoteproc driver. There is overhead for
bigger SRAMs, where only a much coarser allocation granularity is needed:
At 32 bytes minimum allocation size, a 256 KiB SRAM needs a 1 KiB bitmap
to track allocations.
