2017-07-27Documentation: dw-mshc: deprecate num-slotsShawn Lin1-9/+7
dwmmc host driver already deprecate it in the driver but didn't modify the documentation to reflect the fact. This patch deprecates it and clean up num-slots from the examples of all variant host drivers. 2017-02-13Documentation: synopsys-dw-mshc: add binding for fifo quirksJun Nie1-0/+13
Add fifo-addr property and fifo-watermark-quirk property to synopsys-dw-mshc bindings. It is intended to provide more dt interface to support SoCs specific configuration. 2016-11-29Documentation: synopsys-dw-mshc: remove the unused propertiesJaehoon Chung1-5/+0
"support-highspeed" was the obsoleted property. And "broken-cd" is not synopsys specific property. It can be referred to mmc.txt binding Documentation. 2016-11-29mmc: dw_mmc: The "clock-freq-min-max" property was deprecatedJaehoon Chung1-1/+2
The "clock-freq-min-max" property was deprecated. There is "max-frequency" property in drivers/mmc/core/host.c "max-frequency" can be replaced with "clock-freq-min-max". Minimum clock value might be set to 100K by default. Then MMC core should try to find the correct value from 400K to 100K. So it just needs to set Maximum clock value. 2016-09-26Documentation: synopsys-dw-mshc: add binding for resetsGuodong Xu1-0/+4
Add resets property to synopsys-dw-mshc bindings. It is intended to represent the hardware reset signal present internally in some host controller IC designs. 2014-08-11mmc: dw_mmc: modify the dt-binding for removing slot-node and supports-highspeedJaehoon Chung1-7/+5
Almost all SoCs use one slot per host controller. (Even if controller can support the multiple slot, Recommend to use one slot per host controller.) Don't use the slot-node and deprecate the "supports-highspeed" property. Instead, use the cap-mmc/sd-highspeed.
