At some point, we decided to blank HUBP during pixel data blank, and to
handle that, we added some OPTC lock checks. Later, we realized that
this change caused multiple regression, and we removed it. Nevertheless,
we still have some leftovers that might affect some ASIC behavior, and
this commit drops those changes to keep the code consistent.

[Why]
With single display odm 2:1 policy, when moving windowed MPO across
the display, we experience a momentary lag when we move between the
centre of the display and the right half of the display. This is
caused by the MPO pipe being reallocated when it crosses this
boundary
[How]
Handle two cases:
1. if the head pipe has a MPO pipe already allocated in the old
context, then use that pipe if it is available in the current
context
2. if the head pipe is on the left side, check the right side to
see if it has a MPO pipe already allocated. If so, don't use
that pipe if it is selected as the idle pipe in the current
context
Add new function pointer called .acquire_idle_pipe_for_head_pipe
that will pass in the head pipe and handle case 1
Add find_idle_secondary_pipe_check_mpo() to handle case 2
if we don't hit case 1.
In dc_add_plane_to_context(), start with head pipe and check
case 1 and 2 in call acquire_free_pipe_for_head().
If we are on the right side of the display, check case 1
again by passing in right side pipe as the new head in
call acquire_free_pipe_for_head().

[why]
Ideally link capability should be independent from the link
configuration that we decide to use in enable link. Otherwise if link
capability is changed after validation has completed, we could end up
enabling a link configuration with invalid configuration. This would
lead to over link bandwidth subscription or in the extreme case
causes us to enable HPO link to a DIO stream.
[how]
Add a new struct in pipe ctx called link config. This structure will
contain link configuration to enable a link. It will be populated
during map pool resources after we validate link bandwidth. Remove
the reference of verified link cap during enable link process and
use link config in pipe ctx instead.

This commit enables the SubVP feature. To achieve that, we need to:
- Don't force p-state disallow on SubVP (can't block dummy p-state)
- Send calculated watermark to DMCUB for SubVP
- Adjust CAB mode message to PMFW
- Add a proper locking sequence for SubVP
- Various fixes to SubVP static analysis and determining SubVP config
- Currently SubVP not supported with pipe split so merge all pipes
before setting up SubVp

[why]
There will be a series of re-arch changes in Link Resource Management.
They are more and more muxable link resource objects and the resource is
insufficient for a one to one allocation to all links created.
Therefore a link resource sharing logic is required to determine which
link should use certain link resource.
This commit is the first one in this series that starts by defining a
link resource struct, this struct will be available to all interfaces
that need to perform link programming sequence.
In later commits, we will granduately decouple link resource objects out
of dc link. So instead of access a link resource from dc link. Current
link's resource can be accessible through pipe_ctx->link_res during
commit, or by calling dc_link_get_cur_link_res function with current
link passed in after commit.

[Why]
During otg sync trigger, plane states are used to decide whether the otg
is already synchronized or not. There are scenarions when otgs are
disabled without plane state getting disabled and in such case the otg is
excluded from synchronization.
[How]
Introduced pipe_idx_syncd in pipe_ctx that tracks each otgs master pipe.
When a otg is disabled/enabled, pipe_idx_syncd is reset to itself.
On sync trigger, pipe_idx_syncd is checked to decide whether a otg is
already synchronized and the otg is further included or excluded from
synchronization.

[WHY]
To enable dc links for USB4 DPIA ports and AUX command tunneling
for YELLOW_CARP_B0.
[HOW]
1) Created dc links for all USB4 DPIA ports in create_links().
dc_link_construct() implementation is split for legacy DDC and DPIAs.
As usb4 has no ddc, ddc->ddc_pin will be set to NULL for its dc link
and this parameter will be used to identify the dc links as DPIA. The
dc link for DPIA is further to be enhanced with implementation for link
encoder and link initialization.
2) usb4_dpia_count in struct resource_pool will be initialized to 4 in
dcn31_resource_construct() if the DCN is YELLOW_CARP_B0.
3) Enabled DMUB AUX via outbox for YELLOW_CARP_B0.

[Why]
Incorrect encoder assignments were being used while applying a new state
to hardware.
(1) When committing a new state to hardware requires resetting the
back-end, the encoder assignments of the current or old state should be
used when disabling the back-end; and the encoder assignments for the
next or new state should be used when re-enabling the back-end.
(2) Link training on hot plug could take over an encoder already in use
by another stream without first disabling it.
[How]
(1) Introduce a resource context 'link_enc_cfg_context' which includes:
- a mode to indicate when transitioning from current to next state.
- transient encoder assignments to use during this state transition.
Update the encoder configuration interface to respond to queries about
encoder assignment based on the mode of operation.
(2) Check if an encoder is already in use before attempting to perform
link training on hot plug.

[Why & How]
dcn_bw_calc_rq_dlg_ttu uses a stack frame great than 1024. To solve this
we could allocate the rq_param, dlg_sys_param, and input structs
dynamically. Since this function is inside a kernel_fpu_begin()/end()
call we want to avoid memory allocation. Instead it's much
safer to pre-allocate these on the pipe_ctx.

Currently, when full p-state changes are not supported, DLG parameters
are calculated for no p-state support at all. However, we are required

This behaviour already exists for DCN2.

[why]
When we have single channel memory, we can not light up 2 4k displays
with a 1080p edp, because we don't have enough bw by a small margin.
this small margin comes from dcc meta being too large. We however don't
have this dcc meta when we create fake planes so, before the flip we
will not filter out the mode for 2 4k displays with a 1080p edp
[how]
Change get_default_swizzle_mode to something more general so we don't
end up with a separate function for every missing field in the fake
plane. Add a reasonable dcc meta to the fake plane when it is filled in,
so we filter out modes that don't have enough bandwidth. To do this, we
take the screen width and align it to 1024(8k 60)

Since dcn20 and dcn21 are under dcn1 it doesnt make sense to
have it named dcn1.
Change it to "dcn" to make it generic

[Why]
DCN21 is stable enough to be build by default. So drop the flags.
[How]
Remove them using the unifdef tool. The following commands were executed
in sequence:
$ find -name '*.c' -exec unifdef -m -DCONFIG_DRM_AMD_DC_DCN2_1 -UCONFIG_TRIM_DRM_AMD_DC_DCN2_1 '{}' ';'
$ find -name '*.h' -exec unifdef -m -DCONFIG_DRM_AMD_DC_DCN2_1 -UCONFIG_TRIM_DRM_AMD_DC_DCN2_1 '{}' ';'
In addition:
* Remove from kconfig, and replace any dependencies with DCN1_0.
* Remove from any makefiles.
* Fix and cleanup Renoir definitions in dal_asic_id.h
* Expand DCN1 ifdef to include DCN21 code in the following files:
* clk_mgr/clk_mgr.c: dc_clk_mgr_create()
* core/dc_resources.c: dc_create_resource_pool()
* gpio/hw_factory.c: dal_hw_factory_init()
* gpio/hw_translate.c: dal_hw_translate_init()
