2021-08-09drm/amd/display: add authentication_complete in hdcp outputWenjing Liu1-72/+0
[why] DM needs to be notified when hdcp module has completed authentication attempt. 2020-09-17drm/amd/display: Don't log hdcp module warnings in dmesgBhawanpreet Lakha1-1/+1
[Why] DTM topology updates happens by default now. This results in DTM warnings when hdcp is not even being enabled. This spams the dmesg and doesn't effect normal display functionality so it is better to log it using DRM_DEBUG_KMS() [How] Change the DRM_WARN() to DRM_DEBUG_KMS() Signed-off-by: Bhawanpreet Lakha <Bhawanpreet.Lakha@amd.com> Acked-by: Alex Deucher <alexander.deucher@amd.com> Reviewed-by: Rodrigo Siqueira <Rodrigo.Siqueira@amd.com> Signed-off-by: Alex Deucher <alexander.deucher@amd.com>

[Why] So the values of stay count and bstatus can be easily viewed during debugging. 2020-02-12drm/amd/display: update HDCP DTM immediately after hardware programmingWenjing Liu1-0/+9
[why] HDCP DTM needs to be aware of the upto date display topology information in order to validate hardware consistency. [how] update HDCP DTM on update_stream_config call. 2019-11-19drm/amd/display: Change ERROR to WARN for HDCP moduleBhawanpreet Lakha1-2/+2
[Why] HDCP is a bit finicky so we try it 3 times, this leads to a case where if we fail the first time and pass the second time the error is still shown in dmesg for the first failed attempt. This leads to false positive errors. [How] Change the logging from ERROR to WARNING. Warnings are still shown in dmesg to know what went wrong. 2019-11-19drm/amd/display: Add logging for HDCP2.2Bhawanpreet Lakha1-20/+74
[Why] We need to log the state changes for 2.2 This patch extends the existing logging functions to handle HDCP2.2. [How] We do this by adding if/else in the defines, and output the log based on the hdcp version Signed-off-by: Bhawanpreet Lakha <Bhawanpreet.Lakha@amd.com> Reviewed-by: Harry Wentland <harry.wentland@amd.com> Signed-off-by: Alex Deucher <alexander.deucher@amd.com>
2019-10-03drm/amd/display: Add HDCP moduleBhawanpreet Lakha1-0/+139
This module manages HDCP for amdgpu driver. The module behaves as a state machine which handles the different authentication states of HDCP The module is divided into 3 major components +--------+ | Hdcp.c | +--------+ Manages the state machine, sends the events to be executed and communicates with the dm +-----------+ |Execution.c| +-----------+ This executes events based on the current state. Also generates execution results as transition inputs +------------+ |Transition.c| +------------+ Decides the next state based on the input and makes requests to hdcp.c to handle. +-------------+ ------> | Execution.c | ------ | +-------------+ | | V +----+ +--------+ +--------------+ | DM | -----> | Hdcp.c | <------------ | Transition.c | +----+ <----- +--------+ +--------------+ v2: Drop unused function definitions Signed-off-by: Bhawanpreet Lakha <Bhawanpreet.Lakha@amd.com> Signed-off-by: Wenjing Liu <Wenjing.Liu@amd.com> Reviewed-by: Wenjing Liu <Wenjing.Liu@amd.com> Acked-by: Harry Wentland <harry.wentland@amd.com> Signed-off-by: Alex Deucher <alexander.deucher@amd.com>
