2018-01-05IB/{rdmavt, hfi1, qib}: Remove get_card_name() downcallMichael J. Ruhl1-2/+2
rdmavt has a down call to client drivers to retrieve a crafted card name. This name should be the IB defined name. Rather than craft the name each time it is needed, simply retrieve the IB allocated name from the IB device. Update the function name to reflect its application. Clean up driver code to match this change. Reviewed-by: Mike Marciniszyn <mike.marciniszyn@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Michael J. RC timeout counter isn't getting incremented. Increment counter and add the trace for it. 2016-12-11IB/rdmavt: Fix trace hierarchyDennis Dalessandro1-137/+3
Split rdmavt traces into separate files to preserve the original hierarchy since only one trace sub system may now be defined per header file. 2016-03-10IB/rdmavt: Add trace and error print statements in post_one_wrHarish Chegondi1-0/+70
These trace and error print statements would help in debugging issues which are caused due to messed up QP ring buffer pointers. Reviewed-by: Mike Marciniszyn <mike.marciniszyn@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Harish Chegondi <harish.chegondi@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Doug Ledford <dledford@redhat.com>

2016-03-10IB/rdmavt: Add support for tracing eventsDennis Dalessandro1-0/+86
This patch adds support of tracing events using the kernels built-in event tracing infrastructure. This can be extended to provide a wide range of trace and debug capabilities which have a negligible impact on performance when enabled. These should be preferred over the use of the rvt_pr* functions.
