2022-10-09Input: i8042 - add LoongArch support in i8042-acpipnpio.hHuacai Chen1-1/+1
LoongArch uses ACPI and nearly the same as X86/IA64 for 8042. So modify i8042-acpipnpio.h slightly and enable it for LoongArch in i8042.h. Then i8042 driver can work well under the ACPI firmware with PNP typed key- board and mouse configured in DSDT. 2022-10-09Input: i8042 - rename i8042-x86ia64io.h to i8042-acpipnpio.hHuacai Chen1-1/+1
Now i8042-x86ia64io.h is shared by X86 and IA64, but it can be shared by more platforms (such as LoongArch) with ACPI firmware on which PNP typed keyboard and mouse is configured in DSDT. So rename it to i8042- acpipnpio.h. 2015-07-16Input: i8042 - add unmask_kbd_data optionStephen Chandler Paul1-0/+13
A big problem with the current i8042 debugging option is that it outputs data going to and from the keyboard by default. As a result, many dmesg logs uploaded by users will unintentionally contain sensitive information such as their password, as such it's probably a good idea not to output data coming from the keyboard unless specifically enabled by the user. 2013-08-26Input: add driver for slidebar on Lenovo IdeaPad laptopsAndrey Moiseev1-24/+0
This driver adds support for slidebars found on some Lenovo IdeaPad laptops (the slidebars work with SlideNav/Desktop Navigator under Windows). Fixes: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16004 Registers 'IdeaPad Slidebar' input device and /sys/devices/platform/ideapad_slidebar/slidebar_mode for switching slidebar's modes. Now works on: IdeaPad Y550, Y550P. May work on (testing and adding new models is needed): Ideapad Y560, Y460, Y450, Y650, and, probably, some others. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
