2019-06-05media: media/radio: set device_caps in struct video_deviceHans Verkuil1-2/+2
Instead of filling in the struct v4l2_capability device_caps field, fill in the struct video_device device_caps field. That way the V4L2 core knows what the capabilities of the video device are. But this only really works if all drivers use this, so convert all radio drivers in this patch. Once upon a time the radio-miropcm20 driver had RDS support. However, after some internal kernel changes that support was removed. Now that we have a nice RDS API I have been working on adding back this support. It has been tested with the si4713 RDS transmitter and it is working quite nicely. module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy trick. It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option. 2010-12-01[media] BKL: trivial BKL removal from V4L2 radio driversHans Verkuil1-2/+4
The patch converts a bunch of V4L2 radio drivers to unlocked_ioctl. These are all simple conversions: most already had a lock and so the ioctl fop could simply be replaced by unlocked_ioctl. radio-miropcm20.c was converted to use the new V4L2 core lock. While doing this work I noticed that many of these drivers initialized some more fields or muted audio or something like that *after* creating the device node. This should be done before the device node is created to prevent problems. Especially hal tends to grab a device node as soon as it is created. 2009-11-27media/radio: New driver for the radio FM module on Miro PCM20 sound cardKrzysztof Helt1-0/+270
This is recreated driver for the FM module found on Miro PCM20 sound cards. This driver was removed around the 2.6.2x kernels because it relied on the removed OSS module. Now, it uses a current ALSA module (snd-miro) and is adapted to v4l2 layer. It provides only basic functionality: frequency changing and FM module muting.
