2013-09-05Merge git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/davem/netDavid S. Miller2-2/+1
Conflicts: drivers/net/ethernet/stmicro/stmmac/stmmac_platform.c net/bridge/br_multicast.c net/ipv6/sit.c The conflicts were minor: 1) sit.c changes overlap with change to ip_tunnel_xmit() signature. 2) br_multicast.c had an overlap between computing max_delay using msecs_to_jiffies and turning MLDV2_MRC() into an inline function with a name using lowercase instead of uppercase letters. 3) stmmac had two overlapping changes, one which conditionally allocated and hooked up a dma_cfg based upon the presence of the pbl OF property, and another one handling store-and-forward DMA made. The latter of which should not go into the new of_find_property() basic block. Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2013-09-05qlcnic: use standard NAPI weightsMichal Schmidt2-19/+12
Since commit 82dc3c63 ("net: introduce NAPI_POLL_WEIGHT") netif_napi_add() produces an error message if a NAPI poll weight greater than 64 is requested. qlcnic requests the weight as large as 256 for some of its rings, and smaller values for other rings. For instance in qlcnic_82xx_napi_add() I think the intention was to give the tx+rx ring a bigger weight than to rx-only rings, but it's actually doing the opposite. So I'm assuming the weights do not really matter much. Just use the standard NAPI weights for all rings. 2013-09-03drivers/net: Convert uses of compare_ether_addr to ether_addr_equalJoe Perches1-2/+2

2013-08-31qlcnic: Enhance PVID handling for 84xx adaptersManish Chopra3-10/+22
o PF driver should not indicate PVID configuration to VF driver. VF driver should be in no VLAN configuration mode. Signed-off-by: Manish Chopra <manish.chopra@qlogic.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2013-08-29drivers:net: Convert dma_alloc_coherent(...__GFP_ZERO) to dma_zalloc_coherentJoe Perches1-15/+14
__GFP_ZERO is an uncommon flag and perhaps is better not used. static inline dma_zalloc_coherent exists so convert the uses of dma_alloc_coherent with __GFP_ZERO to the more common kernel style with zalloc. Remove memset from the static inline dma_zalloc_coherent and add just one use of __GFP_ZERO instead. Trivially reduces the size of the existing uses of dma_zalloc_coherent. This function checks the upper bound but it doesn't check for negative numbers: if (txq > QLCNIC_MAX_TX_RINGS) { I've solved this by making "txq" a u32 type.
