2018-11-12smsc: Replace spin_is_locked() with lockdepLance Roy1-1/+1
lockdep_assert_held() is better suited to checking locking requirements, since it only checks if the current thread holds the lock regardless of whether someone else does. This is also a step towards possibly removing spin_is_locked(). Signed-off-by: Lance Roy <ldr709@gmail.com> Cc: Steve Glendinning <steve.glendinning@shawell.net> Cc: "David S. spin_is_locked() always return false in uniprocessor configuration and therefore it would be advise to repalce with WARN_ON_SMP(). Signed-off-by: Sanjeev Sharma <Sanjeev_Sharma@mentor.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2013-12-06ethernet: Fix FSF address in file headersJeff Kirsher1-2/+1
Several files refer to an old address for the Free Software Foundation in the file header comment. Resolve by replacing the address with the URL <http://www.gnu.org/licenses/> so that we do not have to keep updating the header comments anytime the address changes. 2012-01-07smsc911x: Unconditionally include linux/smscphy.h in smsc911x.hDavid S. Miller1-2/+0
The energy detect enable/disable code in the driver uses some register defines in this header unconditionally, so guarding the smscphy.h header include with CONFIG_SMSC_PHY leads to build failures in some configurations. 2012-01-03net: phy: smsc: Move SMSC PHY constants to <linux/smscphy.h>Javier Martinez Canillas1-0/+4
SMSC generation 4 LAN chips integrate an IEEE 802.3 ethernet physical layer. The ethernet driver for this family of devices needs to access the SMSC PHY registers and bit-fields. So, this patch moves these constants to a place where it can be used for both the PHY and LAN drivers. Signed-off-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@dowhile0.org> Signed-off-by: David S.
