2017-05-08scripts/spelling.txt: add regsiter -> register spelling mistakeStephen Boyd1-2/+2
This typo is quite common. Fix it and add it to the spelling file so that checkpatch catches it earlier. 2012-05-17isci: Changes in COMSAS timings enabling ISCI to detect buggy disc drives.Andrzej Jakowski1-0/+8
This patch extends timings in COMSAS signaling, so ISCI can detect disc drives having issues to send COMSAS in correct time frame. Signed-off-by: Andrzej Jakowski <andrzej.jakowski@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Dan Williams <dan.j.williams@intel.com>
2012-02-19[SCSI] isci: enable clock gatingMarcin Tomczak1-2/+25
Enabling clock gating for power savings on entry to controller ready state. Disable SCU clock gating for power savings on exit from the controller ready state. The gating is fully automated by silicon after setting the mode. 2011-08-23[SCSI] isci: change sas phy timeouts from 54us to 59usMarcin Tomczak1-0/+12
Need the following workaround in the driver for interoperability with the older Intel SSD drives and any other SATA drive that may exhibit the same behavior. This is a corner case where SCU speed is limited to either 3G or 1.5G and the drive has a period of DC idle when it switches speed during SATA speed negotiation. Workaround :change PHYTOV[31:24] from 0x36 to 0x3B.
