Intel Moorestown platform support was removed few years ago. This is a follow
up which removes Moorestown specific code for the serial devices. It includes
mrst_max3110 and earlyprintk bits.
This was used on SFI (Medfield, Clovertrail) based platforms as well, though
new ones use normal serial interface for the console service.

During resume, a startup will request_irq again, meantime resume function's
enable_irq will cause unbalanced IRQ issue.
Fix this issue by moving request_irq to probe function.

There is a race between termios configuration and xmit that can cause the
intel_mid_ssp_spi driver to stall.
Serializing spi transactions fixes the problem.

We should check the validity of the irq number before calling
disable_irq() and enable_irq() in the suspend/resume function,
as "max->irq == 0" means the irq is not enabled for max3110
device, otherwise it will hurt device whose irq number is really 0.

Now, we start converting tty buffer functions to actually use
tty_port. This will allow us to get rid of the need of tty in many
call sites. Only tty_port will needed and hence no more
tty_port_tty_get in those paths.
Now, the one where most of tty_port_tty_get gets removed:
tty_flip_buffer_push.
IOW we also closed all the races in drivers not using tty_port_tty_get
at all yet.
Also we move tty_flip_buffer_push declaration from include/linux/tty.h
to include/linux/tty_flip.h to all others while we are changing it
anyway.

One point is to have less places where we actually need tty pointer.
The other is that low_latency is bound to buffer processing and
buffers are now in tty_port. So it makes sense to move low_latency to
tty_port too.

In ancient times it was necessary to manually initialize the bus field of an
spi_driver to spi_bus_type. These days this is done in spi_driver_register(),
so we can drop the manual assignment.
The patch was generated using the following coccinelle semantic patch:

The main thread is waiting on on a wait_queue but wake_up_process() is
used to wake the thread. This reads weirdly. Change wake_up_process() to
wake_up().

Since commit e0626e38 (spi: prefix modalias with "spi:"),
the spi modalias is prefixed with "spi:".
This patch adds "spi:" prefix and removes "-spi" suffix in the modalias.

The driver went to initialize its waitqueue at the start of the main
processing thread. However, it is possible that this thread is not
scheduled on a CPU before the write function is called which leads to a

Change print message to notice instead of error to clean up non critical
messages showing on startup. The MAX3111 not being present is a normal

The serial drivers are really just tty drivers, so move them to
drivers/tty/ to make things a bit neater overall.
This is part of the tty/serial driver movement proceedure as proposed by
Arnd Bergmann and approved by everyone involved a number of months ago.
