2008-08-15alpha: move include/asm-alpha to arch/alpha/include/asmLinus Torvalds1-28/+0
Sam Ravnborg did the build-test that the direct header file move works, I'm just committing it. This is a pure move: mkdir arch/alpha/include git mv include/asm-alpha arch/alpha/include/asm with no other changes. 2008-04-28alpha: teach the compiler that BUG doesn't returnAndrew Morton1-3/+13
Fix things like this: security/selinux/netnode.c: In function 'sel_netnode_find': security/selinux/netnode.c:126: warning: 'idx' may be used uninitialized in this function security/selinux/netnode.c: In function 'sel_netnode_sid': security/selinux/netnode.c:225: warning: 'ret' may be used uninitialized in this function security/selinux/netnode.c:168: warning: 'idx' may be used uninitialized in this function due to code correctly not expecting BUG() to return. For some reason this reduces the object code size for that particular file. 2005-05-01[PATCH] remove all kernel BUGsMatt Mackall1-0/+3
This patch eliminates all kernel BUGs, trims about 35k off the typical kernel, and makes the system slightly faster. Signed-off-by: Matt Mackall <mpm@selenic.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
