2008-08-07[ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King6-9/+5
Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-07-28spi_s3c24xx: really assign busnumBen Dooks1-0/+1
The original "Pass the bus number we expect the S3C24XX SPI driver to attach to via the platform data." [1] patch was mis-sent, and missed two important parts of the diff, which was to actually set the bus_num field and add the relevant field to the platform data. The previous commit 50f426b55d919dd017af35bb6a08753d1f262920 promised to add a bus_num field, but failed to include the two hunks that added this field to include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/spi.h and then pass it to the spi core when creating the new master field in drivers/spi/spi_s3c24xx.c. [1] git commit 50f426b55d919dd017af35bb6a08753d1f262920 Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: David Brownell <dbrownell@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

2008-04-17[ARM] 4987/1: S3C24XX: Ensure watchdog reset initiated from cached code.Ben Dooks2-45/+65
There seems to be some problem with at-least the S3C2440 and bus traffic during an reset. It is unlikely, but still possible that the system will hang in such a way that the watchdog cannot get the system out of the state it is in. Change to making the code that calls the watchdog reset run from cached memory so that instruction fetches have quiesced before the watchdog fires. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2008-04-15spi: spi_s3c24xx must initialize num_chipselectBen Dooks1-0/+1
The SPI core now expects num_chipselect to be set correctly as due to added checks on the chip being selected before an transfer is allowed. This patch adds a num_cs field to the platform data which needs to be set correctly before adding the SPI platform device. 2008-02-06spi: s3c drivers shouldn't care about spi_board_infoDavid Brownell2-12/+0
The two S3C SPI master drivers got merged without much review, so I just noticed that they're doing something that the SPI core code is responsible for, rather than any adapter driver: they try to register SPI devices. This removes that support from those drivers so they act normally. Interestingly, none of the current boards are affected. So it's a net code shrink with no loss of functionality.
