2022-04-14ASoC: soc-card: Create jack kcontrol without pinsAkihiko Odaki1-8/+7
snd_soc_card_jack_new() allowed to create jack kcontrol without pins, but did not create kcontrols. The jack would not have kcontrols if pins were not going to be added. This renames the old snd_soc_card_jack_new() to snd_soc_card_jack_new_pins() for use when pins are provided or will be added later. The new snd_soc_card_jack_new() appropriately creates a jack for use without pins and adds a kcontrol. 2021-06-22ASoC: Intel: use MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE with platform_device_id tablesPierre-Louis Bossart1-1/+1
When we have a platform_device_id table, we can use MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE to automatically generate the modalias. As a result we can remove the manual insertion of MODULE_ALIAS. 2020-06-23ASoC: Intel: kbl-rt5660: use .exit() dailink callback to release gpiodPierre-Louis Bossart1-2/+15
The gpiod handling is inspired from the bdw-rt5677 code. Apply same fix to avoid reference count issue while removing modules for consistency. The new Dell IoT platform uses kabylake + alc3277 codec, and alc3277 shares the driver with the codec rt5660, here we generate a new machine driver based on kbl_da7219_max98357a. The audio design on this IoT platform is as below: - Intel kabylake platform - connect the codec ALC3277 via SSP0 - line-out and line-in with Micbias jacks - line-out mute control and jack detection of line-out and line-in - two HDMI ports with audio capability Signed-off-by: Hui Wang <hui.wang@canonical.com> Acked-by: Pierre-Louis Bossart <pierre-louis.bossart@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
