For association and link reconfiguration response, parse and store the enhanced BSS parameter change counter out of the enhanced critical updates field in the multi-link common info or per-STA profile. These are required for UHR connections. 2026-07-06wifi: ieee80211: validate MLE common info lengthZhao Li1-8/+4
ieee80211_mle_common_size() uses the first common-info octet as the common information length for all known MLE types. However, ieee80211_mle_size_ok() only validates that octet for Basic, Probe Request, and TDLS MLEs. Reconfiguration MLEs also skipped the length octet when calculating the minimum common size, and Priority Access MLEs skipped validation of the advertised common information length. Account for the Reconfiguration common-info length octet and validate the advertised common information length for all known MLE types. Keep unknown-type handling unchanged. 2026-06-03wifi: mac80211: AP: handle DBE for clientsJohannes Berg1-3/+13
In AP mode, track the BSS non-DBE bandwidth and apply that to all non-DBE clients, then track OMP updates from the clients and enable/disable DBE accordingly. For now don't send a response, clients need to have a timer anyway (it's up to the driver to set the right timeout in UHR capabilities.) When a UHR AP has DBE enabled, parse the channel and apply it to the chandef. Apply for TX only after the OMP response (or timeout) so that the AP doesn't receive frames with DBE width before the station completed transition to DBE. In the final version of 802.11be-2024, Transition Delay and Padding Delay subfield are for both EMLSR and EMLMR. Depending if the mode is EMLSR or EMLMR, the interpretation of the encoded value might change. Define all the constants and helpers to interpret delay subfields both in EMLSR and EMLMR mode. According to the definition in IEEE Std 802.11be-2024, Table 9-417r, each bit indicates support for the transmission and reception of EHT-MCS 15 in: - B0: 52+26-tone and 106+26-tone MRUs. - B1: a 484+242-tone MRU if 80 MHz is supported. - B2: a 996+484-tone MRU and a 996+484+242-tone MRU if 160 MHz is supported. - B3: a 3×996-tone MRU if 320 MHz is supported.
