* fpu: Add rebias bool, value and operationLucas Mateus Castro (alqotel)2022-08-311-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Added the possibility of recalculating a result if it overflows or underflows, if the result overflow and the rebias bool is true then the intermediate result should have 3/4 of the total range subtracted from the exponent. The same for underflow but it should be added to the exponent of the intermediate number instead. * Replace config-time define HOST_WORDS_BIGENDIANMarc-André Lureau2022-04-061-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Replace a config-time define with a compile time condition define (compatible with clang and gcc) that must be declared prior to its usage. This avoids having a global configure time define, but also prevents from bad usage, if the config header wasn't included before. This can help to make some code independent from qemu too. gcc supports __BYTE_ORDER__ from about 4.6 and clang from 3.2. * target/*/cpu.h: remove softfloat.hAlex Bennée2018-02-211-0/+64
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As cpu.h is another typically widely included file which doesn't need full access to the softfloat API we can remove the includes from here as well. Where they do need types it's typically for float_status and the rounding modes so we move that to softfloat-types.h as well. As a result of not having softfloat in every cpu.h call we now need to add it to various helpers that do need the full softfloat.h definitions. * fpu/softfloat-types: new header to prevent excessive re-buildsAlex Bennée2018-02-211-0/+115
The main culprit here is bswap.h which pulled in softfloat.h so it could use the types in its CPU_Float* and ldfl/stfql functions. As bswap.h is very widely included this added a compile dependency every time we touch softfloat.h. Move the typedefs for each float type into their own file so we don't re-build the world every time we tweak the main softfloat.h header.
