2024-02-21wifi: mac80211: check beacon countdown is complete on per link basisAditya Kumar Singh1-2/+2
Currently, function to check if beacon countdown is complete uses deflink to fetch the beacon and check the counter. However, with MLO, there is a need to check the counter for the beacon in a particular link. Add support to use link_id in order to fetch the beacon from a particular link data. 2024-02-08wifi: mac80211: add support to call csa_finish on a linkAditya Kumar Singh1-1/+1
Currently ieee80211_csa_finish() function finalizes CSA by scheduling a finalizing worker using the deflink. With MLO, there is a need to do it on a given link basis. Pass link ID of the link on which CSA needs to be finalized. 2023-12-07wifi: mt76: introduce wed pointer in mt76_queueLorenzo Bianconi1-1/+2
Introduce mtk_wed_device pointer in mt76_queue structure in order to configure WED chip. Get rid of dev parameter in Q_READ and Q_WRITE macros. Introduce wed parameter to the following routine signatures: - mt76_init_queue - mt76_init_tx_queue This is a preliminary patch to introduce WED support for mt7996 since mt7996 runs two separate WED chips. 2023-09-30wifi: mt76: mt7921: fix the wrong rate pickup for the chanctx driverSean Wang1-2/+7
The variable band should be determined by the ieee80211_chanctx_conf when the driver is a kind of chanctx one e.g mt7921 and mt7922 driver so we added the extension to mt76_connac2_mac_tx_rate_val by distinguishing if it can support chanctx to fix the incorrect rate pickup. 2023-09-30wifi: mt76: fix race condition related to checking tx queue fill statusFelix Fietkau1-2/+48
When drv_tx calls race against local tx scheduling, the queue fill status checks can potentially race, leading to dma queue entries being overwritten. Fix this by deferring packets from drv_tx calls to the tx worker, in order to ensure that all regular queue tx comes from the same context. 2022-03-16mt76: fix invalid rssi reportDeren Wu1-2/+3
Drop invalid rssi value to calculate a reasonable report Fixes: 4550fb9e9810 ("mt76: improve signal strength reporting") Signed-off-by: Deren Wu <deren.wu@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: Felix Fietkau <nbd@nbd.name>
2022-02-24mt76: fix dfs state issue with 160 MHz channelsFelix Fietkau1-1/+1
When operating on a mix of DFS and non-DFS channels, the driver only checks the CAC status of the control channel. This causes beacons/tx to fail if the control channel is on a non-DFS channel. Fix this by calling cfg80211_reg_can_beacon to determine the DFS status of all affected channels Signed-off-by: Felix Fietkau <nbd@nbd.name>
2022-02-24mt76: improve signal strength reportingFelix Fietkau1-0/+32
Instead of just taking the maximum per-chain signal strength values, add an approximation for the sum of the combined signal. This should more accurately reflect the real signal strength, especially if the per-chain signal strength values are close to each other Signed-off-by: Felix Fietkau <nbd@nbd.name>
