2023-03-13ASoC: codecs: pcm179x-spi: Mark OF related data as maybe unusedKrzysztof Kozlowski1-1/+1
The driver can be compile tested with !CONFIG_OF making certain data unused: sound/soc/codecs/pcm179x-spi.c:32:34: error: ‘pcm179x_of_match’ defined but not used [-Werror=unused-const-variable=] Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20230310214333.274903-7-krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2021-09-27ASoC: pcm179x: Add missing entries SPI to device ID tableMark Brown1-0/+1
Currently autoloading for SPI devices does not use the DT ID table, it uses SPI modalises. Supporting OF modalises is going to be difficult if not impractical, an attempt was made but has been reverted, so ensure that module autoloading works for this driver by adding SPI IDs for parts that only have a compatible listed. 2018-02-12ASoC: pcm179x: replace codec to componentKuninori Morimoto1-6/+0
Now we can replace Codec to Component. Let's do it. Note: xxx_codec_xxx() -> xxx_component_xxx() .idle_bias_off = 0 -> .idle_bias_on = 1 .ignore_pmdown_time = 0 -> .use_pmdown_time = 1 - -> .endianness = 1 - -> .non_legacy_dai_naming = 1 Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Reviewed-by: Michael Trimarchi <michael@amarulasolutions.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2016-01-29ASoC: pcm179x: Split into core and SPI partsJacob Siverskog1-0/+72
The pcm179x family supports both SPI and I2C for configuration. This patch splits the driver into core and SPI parts, in preparation for I2C support.
