The I2C directory is for I2C master controllers, not for clients. So,
move the file describing trivial devices one layer upwards where it
fits its generic nature way better.

Pull powerpc updates from Michael Ellerman:
"Highlights include:
- Support for the kexec_file_load() syscall, which is a prereq for
secure and trusted boot.
- Prevent kernel execution of userspace on P9 Radix (similar to
SMEP/PXN).
- Sort the exception tables at build time, to save time at boot, and
store them as relative offsets to save space in the kernel image &
memory.
- Allow building the kernel with thin archives, which should allow us
to build an allyesconfig once some other fixes land.
- Build fixes to allow us to correctly rebuild when changing the
kernel endian from big to little or vice versa.
- Plumbing so that we can avoid doing a full mm TLB flush on P9
Radix.
- Initial stack protector support (-fstack-protector).
- Support for dumping the radix (aka. Linux) and hash page tables via
debugfs.
- Fix an oops in cxl coredump generation when cxl_get_fd() is used.
- Freescale updates from Scott: "Highlights include 8xx hugepage
support, qbman fixes/cleanup, device tree updates, and some misc
cleanup."

Pull ARM 64-bit DT updates from Arnd Bergmann:
"A couple of interesting new SoC platforms are now supported, these are
the respective DTS sources:
- Samsung Exynos5433 mobile phone platform, including an (almost)
fully supported phone reference board.
- Hisilicon Hip07 server platform and D05 board, the latest iteration
of their product line, now with 64 Cortex-A72 cores across two
sockets.
- Allwinner A64 SoC, the first 64-bit chip from their "sunxi" product
line, used in Android tablets and ultra-cheap development boards
- NXP LS1046A Communication processor, improving on the earlier
LS1043A with faster CPU cores
- Qualcomm MSM8992 (Snapdragon 808) and MSM8994 (Snapdragon 810)

This adds devicetree support for the si7020 iio driver. Since it works
well without requiring any additional property, its compatible string is
added to the trivial i2c devices bindings list.

that went into staging when IIO was first added. Turns out it had a few
bugs and needed to be brought into the modern era! Not clear if I am
the only person who actually has one of these still wired to a board.

- Add an iio_trigger_validate_own_device helper which relies on the device
and trigger having the same parent. Convenient to have this for some
of the more complex trigger / device interactions. Was hand rolled in
a few drivers already so good to bring it into the core.
- Add an iio_read_channel_offset in kernel access helper (similar to
the existing one for scale).
- IIO_ATTR_{RO, WO, RW} and IIO_DEVICE_ATTR_{RO, WO, RW} macros. These
lead some rather contrived function naming, but there is no denying they
do reduced boilerplate. I'm going to resist their introduction in
drivers 'unless' they form part of a larger set of cleanups.

once we have only one file.
- Fix cleaning of flag + setting of size of scan. Without this you can't
start the buffer twice and expect sensible (or any) results. Again,
broken for a long time so not heading for stable.
- Drop the custom watershed setting ABI - for now we'll just support one
value.
- Move to a hybrid hard / soft buffer design (how we've been doing it
for similar devices for a while now!)
- Cleanup some unusued variables.

Minimal implementation of an IIO driver for the Domintech DMARD09 3-axis

The documentation currently uses the non-standard vendor prefix stm
and st-micro for STMicroelectronics. The drivers do not specify the
vendor prefixes since the I2C Core strips them away from the DT
provided compatible string. Therefor, changing documentation and
existing device trees does not have any impact on device detection.

The command flow is exactly the same, the core simply needs to be
told to enable TPM2 mode when the compatible string indicates a
TPM2.

EEPROMs can have additional properties, so they are not suitable for
trivial-devices.txt. Move most bindings to the designated eeprom.txt.
Add the missing "atmel,24c08" while doing that. Note that the remaining
ones in trivial-devices need to be dealt with separately because of
improper manufacturer names.

This adds support for the 10 bit version if Freescale's accelerometers
of this series. The datasheet is available at Freescale's website:

It creates a devicetree bindings file to document the new functionality
and removes the driver from the trivial-devices list.

DT nodes should use the more specific adi,adxl345 and adi,adxl346
compatible values instead. As the ADXL346 is backward-compatible with
the ADXL345, ADXL346 nodes must list both adi,adxl346 and adi,adxl345,
in that order.

This patch adds support for Abracon AB-RTCMC-32.768kHz-B5ZE-S3
RTC/Calendar module w/ I2C interface.
This support includes RTC time reading and setting, Alarm (1 minute
accuracy) reading and setting, and battery low detection. The device also
supports frequency adjustment and two timers but those features are
currently not implemented in this driver. Due to alarm accuracy
limitation (and current lack of timer support in the driver), UIE mode is
not supported.

CM3232 is an advanced ambient light sensor with I2C protocol interface.
The I2C slave address is internally hardwired as 0x10 (7-bit). Writing
to configure register is byte mode, but reading ALS register requests to
use word mode for 16-bit resolution.

Some DS13XX devices have "trickle chargers". Introduce a device tree
binding for the resistor and diode configuration for enabling trickle
charger.
