2022-05-23dt-bindings: Fix properties without any typeRob Herring1-1/+2
Now that the schema tools can extract type information for all properties (in order to decode dtb files), finding properties missing any type definition is fairly trivial though not yet automated. Fix the various property schemas which are missing a type. Most of these tend to be device specific properties which don't have a vendor prefix. A vendor prefix is how we normally ensure a type is defined. 2022-01-28media: dt-bindings: media: max9286: Define 'maxim,gpio-poc'Jacopo Mondi1-1/+66
Define a new vendor property in the maxim,max9286 binding schema. The new property allows to declare that the remote camera power-over-coax is controlled by one of the MAX9286 gpio lines. As it is currently not possible to establish a regulator as consumer of the MAX9286 gpio controller for this purpose, the property allows to declare that the camera power is controlled by the MAX9286 directly. The property accepts a gpio-index (0 or 1) and one line polarity flag as defined by dt-bindings/gpio/gpio.h. 2021-06-21dt-bindings: Drop redundant minItems/maxItemsRob Herring1-1/+0
If a property has an 'items' list, then a 'minItems' or 'maxItems' with the same size as the list is redundant and can be dropped. Note that is DT schema specific behavior and not standard json-schema behavior. The tooling will fixup the final schema adding any unspecified minItems/maxItems. This condition is partially checked with the meta-schema already, but only if both 'minItems' and 'maxItems' are equal to the 'items' length. An improved meta-schema is pending. DT properties which can have multiple entries need to specify what the entries are and define how many entries there can be. In the case of only a single entry, just 'maxItems: 1' is sufficient.
